Langley-Abbotsford is a future provincial electoral district in British Columbia, Canada. [1] It was created out of parts of Langley, Langley East, Abbotsford West and Abbotsford South.
The riding contains parts of Langley and Abbotsford.

The Lower Mainland is a geographic and cultural region of the mainland coast of British Columbia that generally comprises the regional districts of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Home to approximately 3.05 million people as of the 2021 Canadian census, the Lower Mainland contains sixteen of the province's 30 most populous municipalities and approximately 60% of the province's total population.
The Fraser Valley is a geographical region in southwestern British Columbia, Canada and northwestern Washington State. It starts just west of Hope in a narrow valley encompassing the Fraser River and ends at the Pacific Ocean stretching from the North Shore Mountains, opposite the city of Vancouver BC, to just south of Bellingham, Washington.

This is page shows results of Canadian federal elections in the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia. As defined for this article, the Fraser Valley includes the southern suburbs of Vancouver. Areas outside the Fraser Valley, namely the Fraser Canyon and regions to its west, are also included within one of the ridings. The largest of these ridings is the Chilliwack-Hope riding. This riding also includes most of the Fraser Valley until it joins the Okanagan-Similkameen and extends westward until outside Abbotsford.
New Westminster was the name, or part of the name, of several Canadian federal and provincial electoral districts. All provincial and federal ridings in the area of the Lower Mainland were part of the original New Westminster ridings. "Offspring" ridings are indicated accordingly.

Mike de Jong is a politician in the Canadian province of British Columbia. He is a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of British Columbia, representing the electoral district of Matsqui from 1994 to 2001, Abbotsford-Mount Lehman from 2001 to 2009, and Abbotsford West since 2009. A caucus member of BC United, he served in several cabinet posts under premiers Gordon Campbell and Christy Clark, and ran for party leadership in 2011 and 2018.
An electoral redistribution was undertaken in 2008 in British Columbia in a process that began in late 2005 and was completed with the passage of the Electoral Districts Act, 2008 on April 10, 2008. The redistribution modified most electoral boundaries in the province and increased the number of MLAs from 79 to 85. Funding for the system is provided by the City of Abbotsford, the District of Mission, the University of the Fraser Valley and BC Transit, the agency responsible for planning and management of municipal transit systems throughout the province. Other than planning and managing bus routes, The Central Fraser Valley Transit System contracts out most of its bus services to FirstCanada ULC.
Carvolth Exchange is a transit exchange and park and ride facility serving northwestern Langley Township, British Columbia, Canada. TransLink is the primary operator of the exchange, with routes to Surrey City Centre, New Westminster, Burnaby, Maple Ridge and Langley City, which provide connections to SkyTrain and the West Coast Express rail services for travel towards Vancouver. A single BC Transit express route also serves the exchange, providing service to Burnaby, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack.
John W. Aldag is a Canadian politician, who represented the riding of Cloverdale—Langley City in the House of Commons of Canada as a Liberal MP from 2015 to 2019 and 2021 to 2024. He was first elected in the 2015 federal election, and served until his defeat in the 2019 Canadian federal election. In the 2021 federal election he won his seat back over incumbent Conservative Tamara Jansen.
Langley East is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Canada, that was created in the 2015 redistribution from parts of Fort Langley-Aldergrove and Langley. It was first contested in the 2017 election.
