Larissa Harrison (born 5 January 1990 in Kaitaia, New Zealand) [1] [2] is a New Zealand netball player. Harrison has played with the New Zealand U21 netball team since 2008, and will compete at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands. [3] She also signed with the Central Pulse in the 2009 ANZ Championship season, playing as a goal shooter. [4]

ANZ Championship

The ANZ Championship was the premier netball league in Australia and New Zealand. The competition was held annually between April and July, comprising 69 matches played over 17 weeks. It was contested by ten teams, five from Australia and five from New Zealand. The competition was administered by Trans Tasman Netball League, which was formed as a joint venture by the netball governing bodies of both countries. ANZ Bank was naming sponsors of the competition since its inaugural season.

Central Pulse

The Central Pulse are a New Zealand netball team based in Wellington that compete in the ANZ Premiership. The Pulse were formed as an amalgamation of the Western Flyers and Capital Shakers teams from the National Bank Cup (NBC), and competed in the former ANZ Championship from 2008–16, before joining the ANZ Premiership. The team represent regions from the Lower North Island.

Joline Henry New Zealand netball player

Joline Henry is a New Zealand netball player. Henry is a current member of the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, and has played for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic (2008-2009) and the Northern Mystics (2010-2011) in the ANZ Championship. In 2012, Henry is with the Central Pulse for the 2012 ANZ Championship.

As in other netball-playing countries, netball is considered primarily a women's sport; men's and mixed teams exist at different levels, but are ancillary to women's competition.

Northern Mystics

The Northern Mystics are a New Zealand netball team based in Auckland who currently compete in the ANZ Premiership. The club was formed in 2007 as an amalgamation of two teams from the National Bank Cup – the Northern Force and the Auckland Diamonds – after the competition was retired that year. In 2008, the Mystics joined four other New Zealand franchises in the new ANZ Championship, representing the New Zealand regions of Northland and Auckland. After the ANZ Championship ended in 2016, the Mystics joined five other teams in the new ANZ Premiership

Sonia Mkoloma

Sonia Mkoloma is an English international netball player. Mkoloma made her international debut for the English national team in 1999, and during her career has competed at three Netball World Championships, three Commonwealth Games and two World Netball Series. In 2009, Mkoloma was part of the World 7 team, consisting of international players from England, Jamaica, Samoa as well as former Australian and New Zealand international players. In the domestic Netball Superleague she played with the Surrey Storm with fellow England defender Geva Mentor.

Katrina Rore is a New Zealand international netball player. Rore is the current vice-captain of the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, and plays for the Central Pulse in the ANZ Championship. Rore signed to the New South Wales swifts in the suncorp super netball league in the latter half of the 2018–2019 season following the netball World Cup.

Sharni Norder

Sharni Norder is a former Australian netball player, who last played Super Netball for the Collingwood Magpies in 2018. She is a decorated former player in the Australia national netball team, having won two Gold medals at the Netball World Cup and one gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

Ellen Halpenny is a New Zealand netball player in the ANZ Championship, playing for the Canterbury Tactix. During the first two seasons of the ANZ Championship, she spent much of her time on the reserves bench. But the departure of Jodi Brown to the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic after 2009 saw Halpenny given more on-court time in the shooting circle.

Althea Latoya Byfield is a Jamaican international basketball and netball player. Byfield has represented Jamaica in both sports, and is a current member of the Jamaican netball team.

Elias Scheres is a New Zealand netball player in the ANZ Championship, playing for the Central Pulse. Scheres captained the New Zealand Secondary Schools team that won the International School Girls Championship in June 2008. She was also a member of the New Zealand U21 team in 2007 and 2008, and made the preliminary U21 squad in 2009.

Te Amo Amaru-Tibble is a New Zealand netball and basketball player. She attended high school at Newlands College in Wellington before transferring to Tū Toa, a Māori sports academy in Palmerston North. During her early high school years she focused on basketball, playing with the New Zealand U16, U18, U19 and junior Tall Ferns teams. Amaru-Tibble eventually played netball at Tū Toa, coached by Yvette McCausland-Durie. In 2008, she qualified for the New Zealand U21 team to travel to Australia. She also made the preliminary squad for the following year, but she did not make the final team to compete at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands.

Hannah Broederlow is a New Zealand netball player. Broederlow attended Palmerston North Girls' High School before continuing her studies at the University of Otago. During her high school years she played in the New Zealand Secondary Schools team (2004–05). She has played with the New Zealand U21 netball team since 2006, and was elevated to the New Zealand A squad in 2008. Broederlow was signed in 2007 to play with the Otago Rebels in the National Bank Cup. She was overlooked the next year for a spot in the inaugural ANZ Championship, but later received a callup from Yvette McCausland-Durie to play with the Central Pulse in 2009. Broederlow was also named in the New Zealand U21 team to compete at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships in the Cook Islands.

Camilla Lees is a New Zealand netball player.

Chelsea Pitman is an Australian-born netball player representing the England National Netball Team internationally. She is currently contracted with the Adelaide Thunderbirds playing in the Suncorp Super Netball competition in Australia. She is predominately a wing attack, but can also play goal attack.

Jessica Maclennan is a New Zealand netball player, who currently plays for the Mainland Tactix in the ANZ Premiership. Formerly a shooter, she can play in the GK and GD positions. Maclennan formally played for the Northern Mystics, before joining the Tactix in 2014.

Claire Kersten is a New Zealand netball player who plays in the ANZ Championship, playing for the Central Pulse. Claire can play WD and C. In 2013, she made her ANZ Championship debut for the Central Pulse.
