His singles "Give Heaven Some Hell", "One Beer" and "Wait in the Truck" charted in the US and Canada and he was featured on the Dallas Smith song "Some Things Never Change". His most recent album, The Mockingbird & the Crow, topped the country music charts in early 2023.
Ernest Keith Smith, known mononymously as Ernest, is an American country music singer-songwriter. After writing songs for Morgan Wallen, Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett and Chris Lane, he signed a recording contract with Big Loud in 2019.
