Rammstein is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Prior to their formation, some members were associated with the punk rock acts Feeling B and First Arsch.

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995 by percussionist Shawn Crahan, drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in its early years, the band settled on nine members for more than a decade: Crahan, Jordison, Gray, Craig Jones, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Jim Root. Bassist Gray died on May 24, 2010, and was replaced during 2011–2014 by Donnie Steele. Jordison was dismissed from the band on December 12, 2013. Steele left during the recording sessions for .5: The Gray Chapter. The band found replacements in Alessandro Venturella on bass and Jay Weinberg on drums. After the departure of Jordison, as of December 2013 the only founding member in the current lineup is percussionist Crahan. Fehn was also dismissed from the band in March 2019 prior to the writing of We Are Not Your Kind and was replaced by Michael Pfaff. The band parted ways with Jones in 2023.

The only constant member was Belgian musician Joel Vandroogenbroeck until his death in 2019. The band continued to perform concerts and release albums in the 2000s.

The band went through lineup changes, but the longest lasting and most consistent lineup was a trio of Vic Vergeat on lead guitar and vocals, and ex-Brainticket members Werner Fröhlich on bass and vocals, and Cosimo Lampis on drums.
Dixie Witch is a Texas-based hard rock trio formed by guitarist Clayton Mills, drummer/vocalist Trinidad Leal, and bassist/vocalist Curt Christensen in 1999. The band released their self-produced album Into the Sun on Brainticket Records in 2001. That summer, the band embarked on the "Southern Domination" US Tour with Alabama Thunderpussy and Suplecs. Following that tour, the band signed with Detroit-based Small Stone Records in 2003. One Bird, Two Stones, produced by Jeff Pinkus, was released that spring and Smoke and Mirrors, produced by Joel Hamilton, was released in 2006.
Heaven's Force was an American Christian metal band that formed in Fort Worth, Texas in 1983. It is thought to be the first Christian thrash metal band. The band consisted of vocalist/drummer Dave Gryder, guitarist Chris Richie, and bassist Kelly Berger. Their debut demo, Aggressive Angel, was released in 1983 and their self-titled second demo was released the following year before the group disbanded in late 1984. In 2008, Richie committed suicide after a long time of depression. After this unfortunate event, Gryder stated during an interview in 2014 that the band would never reunite without their friend. The band re-released their demos via Open Grave Records on the compilation album Aggressive Angel in 2009. The band has been compared to Slayer, Venom, and Exciter.
Purple Pyramid Records is a sub-label to Cleopatra Records that focuses on progressive rock and psychedelic music. The label began in 2000 with a series of releases by guitarist Allan Holdsworth, Jon Anderson, and Hawkwind co-founder Nik Turner. The label expanded its roster with releases by Yes, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, Santana, Amon Düül II, Nektar, Brainticket, Tangerine Dream, Alan Davey, L. Shankar, and Quicksilver Messenger Service as well as projects by producer Billy Sherwood dubbed The Prog Collective,, and The Fusion Syndicate.
Sorcerer is a Swedish epic doom band from Stockholm, which was founded in 1988, disbanded in 1992 and re-formed in 2010.
Jason Willer is an American drummer, singer and songwriter. Willer has been active in numerous bands, including the U.K. Subs and many others. He is primarily associated with the East Bay punk rock and metal scene from the 1990s till the present and has toured extensively throughout the world.
