Last Floor Productions is an independent film and television production company, headquartered in London. Last Floor Productions is specialized in the creation of projects that have an Arab focus. The company was founded by Nasri Atallah, Firas Abou Fakher and Daniel Habib in 2019.

The company's first project, Doubt (Al Shak) was created, commissioned, produced and released in a six-week period at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. [2] Doubt was commissioned by MBC Group's Shahid streaming platform as a Shahid Original. The 10-part series was created, written and produced by Nasri Atallah, Firas Abou Fakher and Daniel Charbel Habib and co-directed by Mark Eid and Fatima Al-Banawi. It was shot remotely between Jeddah, Beirut, London and Abu Dhabi.
Last Floor's second collaboration with MBC Group's Shahid came later in 2020 in the form of action comedy Fixer, an 8-episode series about a celebrity fixer in the Arab world. [3] The show was created by Firas Abou Fakher and Daniel Charbel Habib, and stars Badih Abou Chakra, Diamand Bou Abboud and Wissam Saliba in the main roles. It was shot on location in Lebanon.
In 2020, Last Floor Productions also created a series of six films for Apple featuring six Indian musicians, including AR Rahman, Divine, Raja Kumari, Aditi Ramesh, Prateek Kuhad and Lisa Mishra. [4] In 2021, the company created the exhibition film accompanying the Jameel Prize at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, profiling artists and designers inspired by Islamic tradition in London, New York, Lahore, Riyadh, Beirut, Kolkata & Dubai. Bab Al-Hara is one of the most popular television series in the Arab world, reportedly watched by millions of people in the Arab world. The series chronicles the daily happenings and family dramas in a neighborhood in Damascus, Syria in the inter-war period under French rule when the local population yearned for independence. The appeal is cross-generational, and viewers include Muslims, Christians, Druze and Jews from Arab countries, the show was a huge success in the Arab World so MBC managed to renew it for a second season. The series' second season was even a bigger success, and the finale was watched by over a 50 million viewers around the Arab World. It was renewed for 10 more seasons.
Mohammad Jaber Abdul Rahman Assaf is a Palestinian pop singer well known for being the winner of the second season of Arab Idol, broadcast by the MBC network. His victory received worldwide coverage from the media and was welcomed with joy by Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world. In 2013, Assaf was named a goodwill ambassador for peace by The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). He was also named ambassador of culture and arts by the Palestinian government and was offered a position with "diplomatic standing" by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Assaf's story is the basis of the 2015 film The Idol, directed by Hany Abu-Assad. After Arab Idol, Assaf has gone on to enjoy huge popularity in the Arab World and the Arab diaspora and has released two albums and a great number of singles and collaborations. Most of his music is sung in the Iraqi and Gulf dialects.
