RTÉ2 is an Irish free-to-air television channel operated by public service broadcaster RTÉ. It was launched on 2 November 1978 as the Republic of Ireland's second television channel, at which point the pre-existing channel was renamed RTÉ 1 . The channel airs content aimed at 16-45 year-olds.

The Morning Show with Sybil & Martin was a morning magazine show that aired on TV3 in [[Republic of Ireland|Ireland--. It launched on 11 May 2009 as part of a major overhaul of daytime programming on the channel. The programme aired live at 11:00 on weekdays, and was hosted by Sybil Mulcahy and Martin King. It focused on a variety of topical issues, such as healthcare, current affairs, entertainment, and real life stories. It also ran a number of competitions, which gave viewers the chance to become an author of their own published book, or to show off their unique talents such as singing and dancing. In February 2012, it was announced that Claire Brock would replace Sybil Mulcahy while the latter was on maternity leave.
Midday was an Irish television talk show programme skewed towards female viewers. The show ran from 2008 to 2016. It was replaced by Elaine Crowley in 2017.
RTÉ One is an Irish free-to-air flagship television channel owned and operated by RTÉ. It is the most-popular and most-watched television channel in the country and was launched as Telefís Éireann on 31 December 1961, it was renamed RTÉ in 1966, and it was renamed as RTÉ 1 upon the launch of RTÉ 2 in 1978. It is funded partly by the government's licence fee; the remainder of the funding is provided by commercial advertising. Because RTÉ is funded partly by the licence fee it shows considerably fewer advertisements than most other channels available in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The Great Irish Bake Off was an Irish reality TV cooking series. The show was based on the successful BBC show The Great British Bake Off. The show was produced by Sideline Productions for the TV3 Group. It premiered on TV3 Ireland on 19 September 2013, broadcasting for three seasons.

The Seven O'Clock Show is an Irish evening-time television show that aired on TV3. It is a live show, and provides chat, live music, cooking, entertainment, showbiz and technology updates. It replaced Late Lunch Live. The show was pushed back to 18:00 and renamed The 6 O'Clock Show due to the return of Emmerdale and Coronation Street to TV3.
Ireland's Got Talent is the Irish version of the international Got Talent franchise. The series launched on 3 February 2018 on Virgin Media One and was hosted by Lucy Kennedy, accompanied by a sister show entitled Ireland's Got Mór Talent presented by Glenda Gilson and James Kavanagh.
