Laura Vitale (born November 7, 1986, as Laura Pietrangeli), is an Italian-American television chef. She moved from Italy to the United States when she was 12. She worked with her father, Salvatore Pietrangeli, in their family restaurants in New Jersey.

Due to the popularity of her video series Laura in the Kitchen where she cooks Italian cuisine, the Cooking Channel hired her as a chef and host of Simply Laura. [2] In 2015, she published a cookbook, Laura in the Kitchen: Favorite Italian-American Recipes Made Easy. [3]
