Laura Zialor (born 4 August 1998) is an English international athlete. [1] In 2022, she represented Great Britain at the World Championships and European Championships, and England at the Commonwealth Games. [1] [2]

Biography

Zialor was educated at the University of Birmingham [3] and won the British indoor high jump title in 2022. She recorded a personal best of 1.91 metres in May 2022. [4] She had previously won the silver medal at the 2021 British Athletics Championships. [5]

In 2022, she was selected for the women's high jump event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. [1] [4]

In 2023, she was selected for the British team for the 2023 European Athletics Team Championships held in Chorzów, Silesia, Poland between 20 and 25 June 2023. [6] Unfortunately, she injured her Achilles whilst competing at the event and had to crowdfund to cover the cost of private surgery as UK Athletics claimed to not be liable, a loophole Zialor campaigned to change. [7]

Holly Bethan Bradshaw is a British track and field athlete who specialises in the pole vault. She is the current British record holder in the event indoors and outdoors, with clearances of 4.87 metres and 4.90 metres. Bradshaw won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also won bronze at the 2012 World Indoor Championships, gold at the 2013 European Indoor Championships, bronze at the 2018 European Championships, and silver at the 2019 European Indoor Championships. She also holds the European best in the 10 miles on the roads.

Emily Diamond is a British track and field athlete, who competes in the 200 metres and 400 metres. Diamond came to prominence in her breakout season of 2016 when, following her first win at the British Championships over the 400 metres distance, she collected a gold medal in the 4 x 400 metres relay at the 2016 European Athletics Championships as part of the Great Britain team, followed by a bronze in the same discipline at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
