Laurel County Public Schools is a school district headquartered in London, Kentucky. [1] It is one of two districts serving Laurel County, and is the only one of the two to operate high schools.

After a special election in January 2016 alcohol sales are permitted only in the city limits of London. The ordinance went into effect on March 27, 2016, 60 days after results of the election. Laurel County is included in the London, KY Micropolitan Statistical Area.
