Lauren Weeks is an American Hyrox athlete. She is a three-time world champion in Hyrox.
Prior to competing in Hyrox, Weeks competed in CrossFit. Her best result was at the 2017 Regionals, where she placed 14th. [1] She was introduced to Hyrox in 2019 while still a trainee nurse. [2]
Weeks won the 2020 and 2021 Hyrox World Championships. She competed in the first season of the reality competition show Spartan Games in 2021. After placing in the top three in the first season, Weeks returned to compete in the second season in 2022. [3] She competed in the 2022 HYROX World Championships while eight months pregnant and finished ninth. [4] [1] Less than a year after her pregnancy, she won the 2023 HYROX World Championships. [5]

The Strongman Champions League is a Strongman competition circuit, with several Grand Prix events throughout the year and the Strongman Champions League overall champion title going to the overall winner at the end of the season. Competitors include legends in the sport, including Žydrūnas Savickas, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, Aivars Šmaukstelis, Krzysztof Radzikowski, Ervin Katona, Dainis Zageris, Mateusz Kieliszkowski, Oleksii Novikov, Mikhail Koklyaev, Matjaz Belsak, J.F. Caron, Vytautas Lalas, Kelvin de Ruiter, Laurence Shahlaei, Travis Ortmayer, Andrus Murumets, Pavlo Kordiyaka, Tom Stoltman, Rauno Heinla, Terry Hollands, Eddie Hall, Nick Best, Dennis Kohlruss and Martin Wildauer.
Giants Live is a professional strongman tour. Giants Live hosts several competitions each year, including national competitions such as Britain's Strongest Man, single-lift competitions including The World Deadlift Championships and The World Log Lift Championships, and international shows such as Europe's Strongest Man. Since its beginning in 2009, each Giants Live show has served as a qualifier for the next year's World's Strongest Man, with the podium finishers from each show earning a spot in the competition.

Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr is an Australian weightlifter and CrossFit Games athlete. After winning her seventh title at the 2024 CrossFit Games, Toomey has more title wins than any other athlete in the history of the sport. She also won the gold medal in the women's 58 kg (128 lb) Weightlifting event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast.
Mateusz Kieliszkowski is a Polish strongman competitor, notable for winning the 2019 World's Ultimate Strongman competition. He is also a two-time World's Strongest Man runner-up, three-time Arnold Strongman Classic runner-up, one time Europe's Strongest Man runner-up, and five-times Poland's Strongest Man. He is regarded as one of the greatest strongmen in history, with Giants Live describing him as "arguably the best athlete to have never won [World's Strongest Man]."
Martins Licis is an American professional strongman, notable for winning the 2019 World's Strongest Man, the 2022 Arnold Strongman Classic, and the 2021 Rogue Invitational strongman championships.
Tom Ryan Stoltman is a British professional strongman competitor, from Invergordon, Scotland. He is the greatest british strongman of all time as he has won the World's Strongest Man title on three occasions, in 2021, 2022, and 2024. He also won the national title of Britain's Strongest Man on the same years. Nicknamed "The Albatross" due to his sizeable arm span, Stoltman is known for his prowess with the Atlas Stones. In 2020, Stoltman broke the world record for the 5 Atlas Stones 100–180 kilograms (220–397 lb), completing them in just 16.01 seconds; he also holds the world record for the heaviest Atlas stone ever lifted over a 1.22 metres (4.0 ft) bar at 286 kilograms (631 lb).
World's Ultimate Strongman was an annual strongman competition which was held from 2018 to 2021 with the participation of top strongmen from all over the world, determining who is the strongest man in the world. The event was noted for its brute-strength-centricity and expanded the sport to a wider audience outside of Europe and USA. It also introduced the 'feats of strength' series in 2020, ensuring the continuous expansion of the sport during the Covid-19 pandemic. The competition has a number of rival and parallel competitions, including the World's Strongest Man, the Arnold Strongman Classic and the Giants Live Tour.
Oleksii Novikov is a Ukrainian professional strongman. He won the 2020 World's Strongest Man competition, becoming the second Ukrainian to win the title since Vasyl Virastyuk in 2004, and at 24 years, 278 days, he is also the second youngest winner in history, being only seven days older than Jón Páll Sigmarsson in 1984. He is also a two time World's Ultimate Strongman, the 2022 Rogue Invitational champion, and the 2022 Europe’s Strongest Man.
The Rogue Invitational is an annual sporting event that includes a CrossFit competition and a Strongman competition. The event, organized by Rogue, started in 2019 as a CrossFit sanctioned competition, but has since become a major competition for CrossFit athletes. A contest for strongmen that featured the largest prize purse in strongman competition was added in 2021, and an additional one for strongwomen in 2024.
The 2022 World's Strongest Man was the 45th edition of the World's Strongest Man competition, an event that took place in Sacramento, California from May 24 to May 29, 2022. The contest was won by Tom Stoltman with this being his second consecutive title. Joining him on the podium were the 2019 and 2020 World's Strongest Man winners, Martins Licis and Oleksii Novikov respectively, who tied on points. In the event of a draw, the higher placing athlete in the last event, in this case Licis in the Atlas Stones, wins the tie-breaker.
The 2022 CrossFit Games is the 16th iteration of the annual competition in the sport of CrossFit held from August 3 to August 7, 2022, in Madison, Wisconsin. Both Justin Medeiros and Tia-Clair Toomey repeated their 2021 win in their respective men's and women's competitions, while CrossFit Mayhem Freedom won the team competition.
Rob Kearney is a retired American professional strongman competitor. He won the Giants Live North American Open in 2017 and the Arnold International World Series Australia in 2019. He is also a four time qualifier for the World's Strongest Man competition, and a three time participant in the Arnold Strongman Classic. He is also a two-time American log lift record holder, with a competition best of 476 lbs in 2020.
HYROX is an indoor fitness competition that combines 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) of running and eight functional workout stations, alternating between running and functional exercises. It bills itself as "The World Series of Fitness Racing" and "A sport for Everybody".
Derek Lunsford is an American professional bodybuilder who competes in the men's open bodybuilding division in the IFBB Pro League. He won the Mr. Olympia competitions both in 2021 and again in 2023, becoming the first winner of the competition in two divisions.
Emma Lawson is a Canadian CrossFit athlete known for her achievements in the CrossFit Games, since her first appearance at the 2019 Games where she achieved a third-place podium finish in the Girls (14–15) division. In 2020 she placed 1st worldwide in the Girls (14–15) quarterfinals, but no Teens event was held at the games that year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After winning first-place in the Girls (16–17) division in 2021, she has competed in adult Women category, achieving sixth-place in 2022 and a second-place podium finish in 2023.
