Laurence Clifford Hullena (born 24 August 1965) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A prop, Hullena represented Wellington and North Harbour at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1990 to 1991. He played nine matches for the All Blacks but did not play any internationals. [1]

Rugby union in New Zealand

Rugby union is the unofficial national sport of New Zealand. The national team, the All Blacks, is currently ranked the second best international rugby team in the world, after South Africa. The sport has been known in New Zealand since 1870. The top domestic competitions are the semi-professional Mitre 10 Cup and amateur Heartland Championship, and above them Super Rugby, in which New Zealand has five franchises. The country co-hosted and won the first ever Rugby World Cup in 1987, and hosted and won the 2011 Rugby World Cup. They have won three World Cups, tied with South Africa, the most of any other country. They are also the current World Champions in 7s rugby for men and women.

The Māori All Blacks, previously called the New Zealand Māori, are a rugby union team from New Zealand. A representative team of the New Zealand Rugby Union, a prerequisite for playing in the team is that the player has Māori whakapapa (genealogy). Laurie Haig New Zealand rugby union player (1922-1992)

Laurence Stokes Haig was a New Zealand rugby union player. He was born in Scotland but emigrated to New Zealand with his family when he was two years old. A first five-eighth, Haig represented Otago at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, between 1950 and 1954. He played 29 matches for the All Blacks including nine internationals, and captained the side on six occasions.

Jack Laurence "Laurie" Brownlie was a New Zealand rugby union player. A loose forward, Brownlie represented Hawke's Bay at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1921. He played just one game for the All Blacks, against New South Wales, and did not appear in any Test matches.
