Laurent Tuel (born 1966) is a French film actor, director and writer. [1]

Career

Laurent Tuel released his first short film Céleste in 1989, when he was 23. [2] In 2007, he was nominated for César Awards for his Jean-Philippe film. He is the author of Le Premier Cercle (2009) film.

With Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, he co-founded the first school for the deaf in North America, the Asylum for the Education and Instruction of the Deaf and Dumb, on April 15, 1817, in the old Bennet's City Hotel, Hartford, Connecticut.
