His most acclaimed works include the films Thief (1981), Manhunter (1986), The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Heat (1995), The Insider (1999), Ali (2001), Collateral (2004), Public Enemies (2009), and Ferrari (2023). He was executive producer on the popular TV series Miami Vice (1984–90), which he adapted into a 2006 feature film.

Reptilicus is the mutual title of two monster films about a giant, prehistoric reptile. A pair of Danish-American co-productions produced by Cinemagic and Saga Studio, the Danish-language Reptilicus was directed by Poul Bang and released by Saga in Denmark in 1961, while the English-language Reptilicus was directed and co-written by Sidney Pink and released by American International Pictures in the United States in 1962. They've frequently been incorrectly described as two release-versions of the same film.

Ambulance is a 2005 Danish action thriller film directed by Laurits Munch-Petersen, who co-wrote the film along with Lars Andreas Pedersen. It stars Paw Henriksen, Thomas Bo Larsen and Helle Fagralid. The film follows two brothers who commit a bank robbery and steal an ambulance as their getaway vehicle to escape cops chasing after them, only to discover a nurse and a patient in it. The film was released on 15 July 2005. In 2022, an American remake with the same name directed by Michael Bay was released.
