Laurus Technical Institute was an American for-profit technical college with three locations in Georgia. Founded in 1986 as ETI Careers Institute, the school offered travel and tourism programs. It became accredited in 1991. In 2007, the school changed its name to Laurus Technical Institute and began offering programs in the allied health and allied trade programs.

Accreditation

Laurus Technical Institute was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and authorized by Georgia's Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission. Laurus Technical Institute also participated in federal Title IV Student Assistance programs and was approved for the training of veterans in the state of Georgia.

Dawn Career Institute, located in Newark, Delaware, is a private post-secondary institution of higher education serving Delaware, south-central and south-eastern Pennsylvania, and northern Maryland. Dawn Career Institute was founded April 1, 1976 as an aviation school. On February 12, 1999, the school became Dawn Training Centre, and in October 2009, the school changed its name again to Dawn Career Institute. The campus moved to its current location at 252 Chapman Road, Newark, DE on December 22, 2017. This 25,047-square-foot facility provides updated classroom and lab spaces, as well as a brand new computer lab, and dedicated areas for the Learning Resource Center and Career Services Department as a center hub of the campus.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Atlanta was a two-year private for-profit college in Georgia. The college was owned by Career Education Corporation under a licensing agreement with Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. The branch campus was established in April 2003 and all US Cordon Bleu College locations closed in September 2017.

The Ohio Institute of Photography (OIP) was founded in 1971. In 1977, construction began on the main building. Classes began in the new building, designed specifically for photographic education, the following September. The building was expanded again in 1984.

The University of Atlanta was a private, for-profit, distance education university headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It opened in Mobile, Alabama as Barrington University until it received accreditation in 2008. It relocated to Atlanta in 2008 and changed to University of Atlanta and was authorized by the State of Georgia's Nonpublic Post Secondary Education Commission. Until it closed June 30, 2013, the University of Atlanta was accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council.

Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) is a public community college based in Clarkston, Georgia. It is part of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) and provides education for a three-county service area, mostly in the metro Atlanta area. The school's service area includes Dekalb, Rockdale, and Newton counties. GPTC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certificates of credit. Many of the school's individual technical programs are also accredited by their respective accreditation organizations. The College also offers free Adult Education courses for GED and HiSet test preparation and English as Second Language programming. Its Economic Development and Continuing Education division provides customized business and industry training to strengthen the workforce pipeline in Metro Atlanta.

Gwinnett College is a for-profit college with its main campus in Lilburn, Georgia.

YTI Career Institute is a private for-profit career college with campuses in Altoona, Lancaster, and York, Pennsylvania. It was established in 1967 and serves a population of approximately 1750 students. YTI Career Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
