Lavoisier Freire Martins (born 27 March 1974), simply known as Lavoisier, is a Brazilian retired professional futsal player who played as a goalkeeper.
Born in Ocara, Ceará, Lavoisier began his career early, at the age of 14 for Sumov Fortaleza, where he played until 1996. He arrived in the Brazil futsal team despite being criticized due to his short height, and made history by playing more than 150 matches. He also became an idol of Carlos Barbosa, where he played more than 700 matches, and where he ended his career in 2012. [1] [2]
