Lawrence Kiiza is a Ugandan politician and businessman who is the current minister of Ministry of Finance,Planning and Economic Development. He also served as the chairman of Uganda Investment Authority. [1] He was the Minister of Commerce,Industry,and Tourism of Uganda in 1996,as well as the Minister of State for Industry and Technology. He later served as the Director of Uganda Development Bank. [2]
Kiiza was born in 1948 in the Western Region of Uganda. He was born in a family that was involved in farming and business. He began his political career in the 1980s,serving as a Member of Parliament for the Bushenyi District. He later became the Minister of State for Finance,Planning,and Economic Development,and then Minister of State for Industry and Technology. In 1996,he was appointed Minister of Commerce,Industry,and Tourism. [3] [2] He has also been a strong advocate for private sector growth and entrepreneurship. [4] [5]
Kiiza holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Makerere University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Manchester. [6]
Kiiza has faced allegations of corruption and embezzlement during his political career,particularly during his tenure as Minister of Commerce,Industry,and Tourism. However,he has consistently denied any wrongdoing. [7] [8] [2]
Kiiza's contributions to Uganda's economic development are notable,particularly in the areas of trade and industry. Despite facing allegations of corruption,he remains a respected figure in Ugandan politics and business.

The Cabinet of Malaysia is the executive branch of the Government of Malaysia. Led by the Prime Minister,the cabinet is a council of ministers who are accountable collectively to the Parliament. In practice,the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is obliged to follow the advice of the Prime Minister on the appointment and dismissal of ministers.

In October 2022,President Salva Kiir appointed Stephen Dhieu Dau as the chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Revenue Authority. In December 2022,He was appointed as a member of the SPLM Political Bureau.
Samuel Kisakye Sejjaaka is a Ugandan accountant,academic and businessman. He is Principal and Country Team Leader at MAT ABACUS Business School. Between 1993 and 2014,he lectured at Uganda's oldest tertiary institution,Makerere University and rose to the position of Deputy Principal. In December 2014,he retired from the institution at age 50. He then helped establish Abacus Business School,Uganda's premier executive education institution. In 2019,Abacus Business school merged with the Management Accountancy Training Company (MAT) to form MAT ABACUS Business School.
