Lawrie Doran is a British screenwriter working in film and television and a graduate of the London Film School. [1]

Career

Doran co-wrote the feature film Islands , directed by Jan-Ole Gerster, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2025. [2] [3] His screenplay Yesterday Tomorrow Today placed in the top three of the Brit List. He has developed television projects with production companies including Big Talk Productions, Kindle Entertainment, and Rabbit Track Pictures.

Doran is an alumnus of the BBC Pilot Drama Scheme and Torino FilmLab, and a recipient of the John Brabourne Award. [4]

He also co-wrote the 2018 film Speaking in Tongues . [5]
