Laxmi Barupal as an Indian politician and a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She is a former Member of Legislative Assembly from Desuri constituency in Rajasthan. [1] She is daughter of Hukam Ram Meghwal,former member of Parliament.

Thakur of Roopnagar held the jagir of 84 villages on both sides of the Aravalli Range.

It is remake of the Tamil movie Dheerga Sumangali (1974) which was remade in Telugu as Dheerga Sumangali (1974),in Kannada as Bhagyavantharu (1974) and in Malayalam as Aayiram Janmangal (1976). At the box office it was a hit.
