Rajendra Mahato is a Nepalese politician,who was serving as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development since 4 June 2021 but was removed from the post by Supreme Court on 22 June 2021 making the tenure of just 18 days and shortest till date. He was the parliamentary party leader of the People's Socialist Party,Nepal,although the status matter of conflict within the party. Though weak today due to continuous party change,he once was a well known leader of Terai-Madhesh based political alliance. Now,he is thought to move to Sarlahi 4. He has previously contested the election from Sarlahi and Dhanusha where his party could win no local level head position and got clean swept in recent election.
R.L.P. Verma was a former member of Lok Sabha and a leader of Bhartiya Janata Party. He was elected to Lok Sabha from Kodarma in Jharkhand state in India for five terms. Verma represented Jamua Assembly constituency once,from where he was elected in legislative assembly elections in 1972,on the ticket of Bhartiya Jana Sangh. However,on the call of Jai Prakash Narayan for Total Revolution,he resigned from his legislative assembly membership and became a part of the "Sampurna Kranti movement". He was made a candidate of Janata Party for Lok Sabha elections in 1977,and was subsequently elected to lower house of Indian Parliament. Verma has represented Kodarma Lok Sabha constituency for five terms,making him the longest serving Member of Parliament (MP) from this constituency. He was one of the two Member of Parliament of BJP during transformation of Jana Sangh into Bhartiya Janata Party. Verma played instrumental role in strengthening Bhartiya Jana Sangh and later Bhartiya Janata Party in Bihar-Jharkhand region.
Gamhariya is a Village Development Committee in Sarlahi District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 8,000 people residing in 674 individual households. It has two sub villages small Palsi which is hardly 1 km east of the village and other is called Ganesiya which is located at south of the village which is also 1 km. North Ganesiya is associate with Gamhariya identified by ward no 6 and south part is located in Musaili VDC.

The third presidential election of Nepal was held on 13 March 2018. As a new election law was developed and as,due to the Nepalese election in 2017,an electoral college could be established,the election took place three years after the previous presidential elections despite the presidential term of office actually being set at 5 years. The President was elected by an electoral college composed of the members of federal parliament and provincial assemblies. The total number of voters was thus 880,however the 331 members of Federal Parliament have a vote weight of 79,while the 549 members of Provincial Assemblies have a vote weight of 48. In total 862 lawmakers participated in the election leading to a turnout of 97.95%.

He is serving as the Central Secretary of CPN UML,is the in-charge of the Madhesh Province of Nepal for CPN UML,and is the member of House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He previously served as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2021,Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport from 2018 to 2020,and the Minister of Irrigation in 2011.
Juli Kumari Mahato is a Nepali communist politician. She is a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal and the former Minister of Women,Children and Senior Citizens. She was elected from CPN UML under the proportional representation system.
Mahendra Ray Yadav is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He is the current central committee chairman of Nepal Socialist Party.
Samrat Choudhary alias Rakesh Kumar is an Indian politician and Member of Bihar Legislative Council from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has been the party president of BJP Bihar State unit from March 2023. He has also remained Member of Legislative Assembly and a minister in Government of Bihar in Rashtriya Janata Dal government. Chaudhary has been a former Vice President of BJP for the state of Bihar and currently elected for the second term as MLC in 2020 after his first term ended in 2019. In 2014 Samrat planned a split in Rashtriya Janata Dal by defecting thirteen MLAs as splinter group of the party. He later joined BJP. In 2022,he was selected as the Leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative Council.
General elections were held in Nepal on 20 November 2022 to elect the 275 members of the House of Representatives. There were two ballots in the election;one to elect 165 members from single-member constituencies via FPTP,and the other to elect the remaining 110 members from a single nation-wide constituency via party-list proportional representation.
The 2021 split in the People's Socialist Party,Nepal (PSP-N) was a factional dispute amongst the leadership over party control beginning in May and culminating in July,with the faction led by former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav succeeding over the faction of former First Chairman Mahantha Thakur. The dispute was settled as a result of a decision of the Election Commission,which handed control to Yadav's faction,forcing the departure of the Thakur faction from the PSP-N and requiring the formation of a new party.
The Loktantrik Samajwadi Party,Nepal,is the sixth largest political party in Nepal. The party was officially registered at Election Commission,Nepal on 18 August 2021. Mahantha Thakur is the president of the new party. The party was formed after split in PSP-N to join KP Oli led government. Currently,the party stands as the fourth largest party of Madhesh province after Nepali Congress,CPN (UML) and Janata Samajbadi respectively.
Municipal election for Janakpur took place on 13 May 2022,with all 127 positions up for election across 25 wards. The electorate elected a mayor,a deputy mayor,25 ward chairs and 100 ward members. An indirect election will also be held to elect five female members and an additional three female members from the Dalit and minority community to the municipal executive.
The Second Federal Parliament of Nepal,was elected by the 2022 general elections on 20 November 2022. The elections elected 275 Members of Parliament (MPs),165 for each constituency and 110 through the party list,to the House of Representatives. The parliament convened for the first time on 9 January 2023.
Birendra Prasad Mahato is a Nepalese politician,belonging to the People's Socialist Party,Nepal currently serving as a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2022 Nepalese general election,he won the election from Siraha 4 (constituency). He had previously served as a member of the 2nd Constituent Assembly from the party list of Madheshi Jana Adhikar Forum.
