Roxy Music are an English rock band formed in 1970 by Bryan Ferry—who became the band's lead vocalist and principal songwriter—and bassist Graham Simpson. The other longtime members are Phil Manzanera (guitar), Andy Mackay, and Paul Thompson with former members including Brian Eno, Eddie Jobson and John Gustafson (bass). Although the band took a break from group activities in 1976 and again in 1983, they reunited for a concert tour in 2001, and have toured together intermittently since. Ferry frequently enlisted band members as session musicians for his solo releases.

Edwin "Eddie" Jobson is an English musician noted for his use of synthesizers. He has been a member of several progressive rock bands, including Curved Air, Roxy Music, U.K. and Jethro Tull. He was also part of Frank Zappa's band in 1976–77. Aside from his keyboard work Jobson has also gained acclaim for his violin playing. He won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards. In March 2019 Jobson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Roxy Music.

"Jealous Guy" is a song written and originally recorded by English rock musician John Lennon from his 1971 album Imagine. Not released as a single during Lennon's lifetime, it became an international hit in a version by Roxy Music issued in early 1981; this version reached #1 in the UK and Australia, and was a top 10 hit in several European countries. Lennon's own version was subsequently issued as a single, and charted in the US and UK.
Country Life is the fourth studio album by English art rock band Roxy Music, released on 15 November 1974 by Island Records. It was released by Atco Records in the United States. The album is considered by many critics to be among the band's most sophisticated and consistent.
Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed by singer Brent Smith in 2001 after the dissolution of Dreve, his previous band. Smith, still under contract with record label Atlantic Records, recruited the band's original lineup of Jasin Todd as guitarist, Brad Stewart on bass, and Barry Kerch on drums. Mastodon is an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 2000, the band's lineup of Troy Sanders (bass/vocals), Brent Hinds, Bill Kelliher and Brann Dailor (drums/vocals) has remained the same since 2001. Mastodon has released eight studio albums, as well as a number of other releases. The band's 2002 debut album, Remission, garnered significant critical acclaim for its unique sound. Mastodon's second full-length release, Leviathan, is a concept album based on the novel Moby-Dick by Herman Melville. Three magazines awarded the record "Album of the Year" in 2004: Revolver, Kerrang! and Terrorizer.

Jacob Quistgaard is a Danish guitarist and producer based in Los Angeles. Quist is best known as the lead guitarist with British singer and Roxy music frontman Bryan Ferry. He has been touring with Ferry since early 2014 and featured on his 2014 album Avonmore, with Nile Rodgers, Mark Knopfler, Johnny Marr, Flea and Marcus Miller. Other recording credits include British X-factor winners Little Mix, Stooshe and Valerie June. Quist has also performed with multi-million selling Jazz musician Jamie Cullum, bass player T.M. Stevens, Alison Moyet, Waddy Wachtel and Dutch singer Boris Titulaer. Quist is also known for his YouTube channel (Quist), which mainly features his original music, improvisations, tour vlogs and one of the largest and most popular collections of original "jam tracks" and backing tracks on the internet. The channel has over 150 million views and aside from featuring Quist, it also showcases other notable musicians, including Alice Cooper lead guitarist Nita Strauss and Pink Floyd session bass player Guy Pratt.
