Leash Law was an American power metal band formed by ex-members of various other groups. It was formed in 2003 by Wade Black, once a member of the band Seven Witches, Rick Renstrom, Emo Mowery, Stephen Elder, and Richard Christy, who was once a member of the influential bands Death and Iced Earth and has since become famous as the replacement of Stuttering John on The Howard Stern Show . In 2004, Leash Law released their first and only album, Dogface. The band disbanded in 2005.

Death was an American death metal band formed in Altamonte Springs, Florida in 1984 by guitarist and vocalist Chuck Schuldiner. Death is considered to be among the most influential bands in heavy metal and a pioneering force in the extreme metal subgenre of death metal. Their debut album, Scream Bloody Gore, has been widely regarded as the first death metal record.
Supertramp were an English rock band formed in London in 1970. Marked by the individual songwriting of founders Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, they are distinguished for blending progressive rock and pop styles, and for a sound that relied heavily on Wurlitzer electric piano. The group's line-up changed numerous times throughout their career, with Davies the only consistent member. Other longtime members included bassist Dougie Thomson, drummer Bob Siebenberg and saxophonist John Helliwell.
Cave In is an American rock band that formed in 1995, in Methuen, Massachusetts. After several members changes in the late 1990s, their lineup solidified with the 1998 release of Until Your Heart Stops through Hydra Head Records. Their early albums were prominent in the metalcore scene. After this release, the band started experimenting with other genres. Cave In later received mainstream recognition for their 2003 RCA Records album Antenna and its lead single "Anchor," which had an overall alternative rock style. The group went on hiatus in 2006 and later reformed in 2009 with the release of a new EP, Planets of Old, as well as a new LP in 2011, titled White Silence. Both of these post-hiatus releases saw a return to Cave In's earlier and heavier sound.
Alexisonfire is a five-piece Canadian post-hardcore band that formed in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2001. They describe their music as "the sound of two Catholic high-school girls in mid-knife-fight". When the band emerged in late 2001, it was enough to impress critics as well as earning their self-titled debut album a platinum certification in Canada. The band has released three subsequent successful studio albums since then: Watch Out! in 2004, Crisis in 2006, and Old Crows/Young Cardinals in 2009, each achieving platinum certification in their native country. Plus three special edition live albums from Manchester Academy, Birmingham Academy, and Brixton Academy. Their accolades include a 2005 Juno Award for New Group of the Year.
Lifehouse is an American rock band from Los Angeles comprising Jason Wade, Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. and Bryce Soderberg. The band came to mainstream prominence in 2001 with the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" from their debut studio album No Name Face. The song was number one for three weeks on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The single won a Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year, having spent twenty weeks in the top 10 and more than a year on the charts.
Thomas Richard Christy Jr. is an American drummer, radio personality and actor, best known for being the former drummer for several heavy metal bands since the early 1990s, most notably Death, and his tenure on The Howard Stern Show. Born and raised in Kansas, Christy took an interest in rock and heavy metal music in his youth, and started playing the drums at age ten. He played in several bands while at school.
I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love is the debut studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance, released on July 23, 2002 by Eyeball Records. Produced by Thursday vocalist Geoff Rickly, it was recorded at Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor, New York, in May 2002.
"Freak on a Leash" is a song by the American nu metal band Korn, featured on the group's 1998 studio album, Follow the Leader. Prior to the album's release, Korn had an instrumental section of the song, described as a "noisy guitar break." The section was taken out of the song after their fans requested it be removed. After Follow the Leader's release, the song was released as a single on February 25, 1999, and since then, it has been re-released over ten times. The song uses dissonance, distortion, various guitar effects, and a heavy, aggressive style.
Hawthorne Heights, formerly A Day in the Life, is an American rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 2001. Their lineup currently consists of JT Woodruff, Matt Ridenour, Mark McMillon, and Chris Popadak.
"I'm Not Okay " is the lead single and fifth track from My Chemical Romance's second studio album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. "I'm Not Okay " was released to radio on September 28, 2004. The song is also featured on the soundtrack of Burnout 3: Takedown.
Nocturnus was an American death metal band formed in Tampa, Florida in 1987 by drummer/vocalist Mike Browning. They were known for their science-fiction themed lyrics and use of keyboards, both of which were virtually unknown in extreme metal at the time.
RobertRock is an American heavy metal singer-songwriter who is best known as the longtime frontman of Impellitteri, a position he has held from 1987 to 1988, 1992 to 2000, and now from 2008 to the present day. Rock has also released five albums as a solo artist, and performed with a number of other notable artists, including M.A.R.S., Joshua, Tobias Sammet, Axel Rudi Pell and Warrior.
Crimson Glory were an American heavy metal band that formed in 1979 in Sarasota, Florida, under the monikers 'Pierced Arrow', then 'Beowulf' before settling on Crimson Glory. The classic line-up consisted of vocalist Midnight, guitarists Jon Drenning and Ben Jackson, bassist Jeff Lords, and drummer Dana Burnell. With that line-up, they rose to international fame in the mid-1980s and were considered one of the pioneers of the American progressive metal movement, along with Queensrÿche, Dream Theater, Fates Warning and Watchtower. During their career, they released four studio albums and one EP.
Shark Island is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, that played during the 1980s and early 1990s, and reformed in 2017 and is currently touring clubs and hair metal festivals in Europe.
Ethereal Tomb is the third and final full-length studio album from Florida death metal band, Nocturnus. It was released in 1999 on Season of Mist Records after nearly seven years since the band's last material, the Nocturnus EP was released. Emo Mowery had taken up vocal duties as well as bass, and Rick Bizarro played the drums.

Mike Davis is an American metal guitarist. He is best known for his work in the progressive death metal band Nocturnus. He joined the band around 1988, and eventually became the bands' standout lead guitarist. He joined the band when he was just 18 years old and is widely regarded as an underrated guitarist. After the second breakup of Nocturnus in 2003 he formed the band Tiwanaku with Emo Mowery and Richard Christy, but quit early on
Charred Walls of the Damned is an American heavy metal supergroup formed in 2009 consisting of drummer Richard Christy, bassist Steve Di Giorgio, vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens and guitarist Jason Suecof. The band was formed by Christy after a five-year absence from the metal scene since joining The Howard Stern Show in 2004. They have released three studio albums.
Monster on a Leash is an album by Tower of Power released in 1991. It was their debut on Epic Records. This album is considered a return-to-form for the band and debuts lead vocalist Tom Bowes, thus far the only T.O.P. lead vocalist to be of Caucasian descent.
The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die is an American indie rock band formed in Willimantic, Connecticut, in 2009. They released their debut album Whenever, If Ever in 2013 to generally positive reviews, followed by Harmlessness in 2015 and Always Foreign in 2017. They have also released a number of EPs and splits, including a collaboration with spoken word artist Christopher Zizzamia, entitled Between Bodies, in late 2014. According to their Facebook page, their "lineup is constantly expanding and contracting. Recording and live performance lineups vary." Bassist Josh Cyr is the sole founding member who is still part of the group.
