Leavells is an unincorporated community in Spotsylvania County in the U.S. state of Virginia.
Leavells was originally a small agrarian community located at the crossroads of Leavells Road (VA 639) and Courthouse Road (Virginia State Route 208). The community has experienced an explosion in population growth due to its proximity to Interstate 95 and presently consists of numerous middle-class housing developments. Some of these developments include Cambridge, Breckenridge, Leavells Crossing, and Oak Grove. Battlefield Middle School is located in the community along with a Giant food store and a CVS Pharmacy. Recently the roads had lanes added to them, along with sidewalks and trees.
Newport News is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. At the 2020 census, the population was 186,247. Located in the Hampton Roads region, it is the fifth-most populous city in Virginia and 140th-most populous city in the United States.
James City County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 78,254. Although politically separate from the county, the county seat is the adjacent independent city of Williamsburg.
Tysons, also known as Tysons Corner, is a census-designated place (CDP) in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States, developed from the corner of Chain Bridge Road and the Leesburg Pike. Located in Northern Virginia between the community of McLean and the town of Vienna along the Capital Beltway (I-495), it is in the Washington metropolitan area. Tysons is home to two super-regional shopping malls—Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria—and the corporate and administrative headquarters of numerous companies, such as Intelsat, Alarm.com, Booz Allen Hamilton, Capital One, DXC Technology, Freddie Mac, Gannett, Hilton Worldwide, ID.me and Tegna. As an unincorporated community, Tysons is Fairfax County's central business district and a regional commercial center. It has been called a quintessential example of an edge city. The population was 26,374 as of the 2020 census.
Sissonville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Kanawha County, West Virginia, United States, along the Pocatalico River. The population was 4,028 at the 2010 census. Sissonville is located within 14 miles of Charleston, the state capital.

The OMB defines the area as comprising 17 county-level jurisdictions, including the independent cities of Richmond, Petersburg, Hopewell, and Colonial Heights. As of 2020, it had a population of 1,314,434, making it the 44th largest MSA in the country.
The West End is a part of Richmond, Virginia. Definitions of the bounds of the West End vary, it may include only the western part of the city of Richmond or extend as far as western Henrico County. As there is no one municipal organization that represents this specific region, the boundaries are loosely defined as being north of the James River, west of I-195, and south of Broad Street. Historically, the Richmond neighborhoods of the Fan and the Museum District were a part of the West End. A primary conduit through the West End is Interstate 64.
South Riding is a census-designated place and planned community in Loudoun County, Virginia, United States. The South Riding homeowner association was founded in January 1995 to provide services to the community. Neighboring U.S. Route 50 and State Route 28 provide access to the Dulles/Reston/Tysons Corner technology corridor and other major employment centers in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.
Capon Springs Station was an unincorporated community hamlet in Hampshire County in the U.S. state of West Virginia centered on a station on the Winchester and Western Railroad. Located along Capon Springs Road where Dry Run meets Capon Springs Run on the western end of Middle Ridge, Capon Springs Station served as a stop for guests at the Capon Springs Resort in Capon Springs and people picnicking at Capon Lake on the Cacapon River.

U.S. Route 13 (US 13) is a north–south United States Numbered Highway established in 1926 that runs for 518 miles (834 km) from Interstate 95 (I-95) just north of Fayetteville, North Carolina, north to US 1 in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, a northeastern suburb of Philadelphia. In the U.S. state of Virginia, US 13 runs north–south through the Hampton Roads and Eastern Shore regions of the state, using the Chesapeake Bay Bridge–Tunnel to get between the two. In the Hampton Roads area, it uses Military Highway to bypass the city centers. It is most usually a four-lane highway, sometimes up to freeway or expressway standards with controlled access.

The Virginia Park Historic District is located on the north side of New Center, an area in Detroit, Michigan, along both sides of Virginia Park Street from Woodward Avenue to the John C. Lodge Freeway access road. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
Miller Court/Arrowood is a Roanoke, Virginia neighborhood located in northwest Roanoke, bound to the east by Interstate 581. It borders the neighborhoods of Westview Terrace on the west, Fairland on the south, Airport on the east and Roanoke County on the north. Rutherford is an unincorporated community in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. It lies South of Virginia State Highway 236, North of Virginia State Route 620, East of Olley Lane, and West of Guinea Road. This is west of Annandale, east of the independent city of Fairfax.
Paytes is an unincorporated community in Spotsylvania County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. The community is marked at the intersection of Lawyer's Road and Catharpin Road by an electrical substation owned by Rappahannock Electric Co-op. A telecommunications tower was approved to be built on the site to expand cell coverage in the area on February 28, 2001.
Middle Valley is an unincorporated community located along Middle Valley Road and County Route 513 in Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey. It is located near Long Valley within the valley of the South Branch Raritan River. The Middle Valley Historic District was listed on the state and national registers of historic places in 1989 and 1990.
The Gary Crusader is a newspaper based in Gary, Indiana, United States, which has been featured in national newspapers for its focus on the African-American community. It was founded in 1961 and became part of the Crusader Newspaper Group founded by Balm L. Leavell and Joseph H. Jefferson. The Crusader Newspaper Group, founded in 1940, consists of The Chicago Crusader and, since 1961, the Gary Crusader. The newspaper is currently run by Balm L. Leavell's wife, Dorothy Leavell, chairman of the National Newspaper Publishers Association.
