Leaving My Empire is the fourth studio album from Irish alternative band Fred. The album was recorded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada by Howard Bilerman [1] (who also worked with Arcade Fire). Additional recording for the album was done at Lovetap Studios in the band's native Cork. [1] Mixing was done by Ben Hillier [1] and the album was mastered by Andy Vandette at Masterdisk, New York. [1] Additional recording instrumentation on the album was provided by Larissa O'Grady (strings) and Eamon Nolan (trumpet). [1]

Reception

Leaving My Empire received favourable reviews from several Irish music blogs and websites. State.ie called it "a record that will appeal as much to your whistling dairy deliverer as your cooler than cool younger brother.", [2] while Swearimnotpaul.com said "This album is a lot of things, but mostly it’s fun." [3]

Delorentos are a Dublin-based Irish alternative rock band, formed in 2005. They consist of Rónan Yourell, Kieran McGuinness, Níal Conlan and Ross McCormick. The band's debut album In Love with Detail was critically acclaimed in Ireland, being nominated for the Choice Music Prize and in the Best Irish Album category at the 2007 Meteor Awards, at which Delorentos were also nominated for Best New Irish Band. Two extended plays have also been released; their debut release, titled Leave It On, in October 2005, and the follow-up EP, titled Do You Realise, came out in November 2007. The Delorentos discography consists of a selection of singles which impacted on the Irish Singles Chart, such as "The Rules" in May 2006 and "Stop" in July 2007.

Una Healy Irish singer (born 1981)

Una Theresa Imogene Healy is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician, radio and television presenter. She rose to fame in 2008 as a member of five-piece girl group The Saturdays, who are signed to Fascination and Polydor Records. In 2006, she had represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest, where she sang with Brian Kennedy on the song "Every Song Is a Cry for Love"; they placed tenth overall. Healy then auditioned for the Saturdays in 2007, after struggling to find success in her native country. Jenny (Studio Killers song)

"Jenny", also titled "Jenny ", is a song written, produced and performed by the virtual band Studio Killers, released 3 May 2013 as the fourth single from their self-titled debut studio album. Played in the key of B major, the song, inspired by singer Chubby Cherry's crush on a person named Jenny, discusses a girl falling in love with her best friend and doing things such as stealing her lipstick and using her shirt as a pillow case. The single was a number-two hit on the Finnish Singles Chart, and was received positively by critics. A remix featuring German singer Kim Petras was released on 26 March 2021.
