Rich Kids on LSD (RKL) is a Californian hardcore punk band formed in 1982 in Montecito, California, a suburb of Santa Barbara. They were associated with the "Nardcore" scene that evolved out of nearby Oxnard. Their music expanded over the years from West Coast hardcore to a mix of hardcore with rock and metal elements. This style, along with touring, made them very popular on the European scene, especially among skaters in the 1980s and 1990s. Guitarist Chris Rest was the band's only consistent member.
Pay Attention is the sixth studio album by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. It was released on May 2, 2000 by Island Records. The video for "So Sad to Say" premiered on MTV's 120 Minutes on April 25, 2000. In March and April 2001, the band held several shows in certain US cities as part of a multi-day club tour.
Ska-Core, the Devil, and More is an EP by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. It was first released in 1993 by Mercury Records. This EP includes one ska and three hardcore covers.
The Briggs are a punk rock band based out of Los Angeles, California. The band formed in 1999 under the name "I Decline" by brothers Joey and Jason LaRocca and bassist Matthew Stolarz. In 2001, with the addition of drummer Chris Arredondo the band adopted the name The Briggs. Since the band started touring, they have shared the stage with the likes of Dropkick Murphys, Bad Religion, Anti-Flag, and Flogging Molly. They have also been involved with The Vans Warped Tour in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2008. The Briggs released their fourth full-length album, Come All You Madmen, on SideOneDummy Records on June 17, 2008. Their song "This is LA" is played as part of the introduction for the Los Angeles Galaxy and the Los Angeles Kings at all of their home games. Their song "Harder To Stand" from the album Back to Higher Ground was featured in the soundtrack to the film Big Stan (2008). After a short hiatus, the band returned to the studio in 2012 and will be releasing the song and video for "Panic" on May 1, 2012. In the Spring of 2015, The Briggs released a new self-titled 4 song EP. It was self-released by the band on 7", and the CD and digital download version included their previously released single "Panic".
In 2022 a documentary titled "Gridlocked: On Tour with The Briggs" which covered the 2015 west coast tour was released by Gravitas Ventures.
Gang Green are an American punk rock band originally from Braintree, Massachusetts. Chris Doherty (guitar), Bill Manley (bass) and Mike Dean (drums) started the band in 1980 and broke up in 1983. Doherty reformed Gang Green the following year, and the band experienced numerous lineup changes until its dissolution for the second time in 1992. Doherty has been the band's only constant member and has kept Gang Green active from 2005 onwards. The band was influential in the formation of the East Coast hardcore punk scene, and went on to become one of the forerunners of crossover thrash and speed metal in the late 1980s.
Joe Gittleman is an American musician, best known as the bass guitar player for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. His proficiency on bass earned him the nickname "the Bass Fiddleman."
