Lees Football Club is a defunct Cork-based Gaelic Athletic Association club on the southside of Cork city, Ireland. The club was founded in 1886 and was primarily concerned with the game of Gaelic football. The club had a strong association with the Lee Rowing Club and the teams were largely made up of West Cork men working in the city. [1] [2] [3]
—including 98 consecutive years—and were only passed by Nemo Rangers in 2002. Their total of 111 years is the fourth best in SFC history behind Commercials Limerick (122 years), Tullamore GAA (115 years) and Ballina Stephenites (115 years). [5]

Castlehaven Gaelic Football Club is a Cork GAA club in the parish of Castlehaven near the town of Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland. The club also draws players from the villages of Union Hall, Castletownshend and Tragumna. The club participates in competitions run by Cork GAA and by the Carbery divisional board. The club is primarily concerned with the game of Gaelic football, but has fielded hurling teams in the past. They went from playing at Junior B level in 1969 to reaching the Cork Senior Football Championship final only 10 years later. The club has remained at senior level ever since, even though it draws from a very small pool of players. The club is often considered to be a football powerhouse in Cork. They are currently level on the Cork Senior Football Championship roll of honour with St. Nicholas.
William Mackesy was an Irish dual player of Gaelic games, a hurler and a footballer. At club level he played with Lees and Blackrock and was a member of the Cork senior teams in both codes. Mackessy is one of only fifteen players to have won All-Ireland medals in both codes.
James J. Coughlan, known as Séamus Coughlan, was an Irish Gaelic footballer and coach. At club level he played with Nemo Rangers and was also a member of the Cork senior football team.

Robert P. Honohan is an Irish Gaelic football coach, selector and former player. At club he played with Donoughmore and Mitchelstown, divisional side Avondhu and at inter-county level with the Cork minor and junior teams. In a lengthy coaching career, Honohan has had All-Ireland successes at different inter-county levels.
Donal Hurley was an Irish Gaelic footballer, hurler and coach. At club level played with club sides Lees, Erin's Hope and St Finbarr's, and at inter-county level with the Cork senior football team.
