Mount Sunapee is a 5-mile-long (8.0 km) mountain ridge in the towns of Newbury and Goshen in western New Hampshire, United States. Its highest peak, at the north end of the mountain, is 2,726 feet (831 m) above sea level. The mountain has three secondary peaks, White Ledges at 2,716 ft (828 m); North Peak at 2,280 ft (695 m); and South Peak at 2,608 ft (795 m). The north end of the mountain, including the summit, is within Mount Sunapee State Park, which encompasses 3.85 square miles (10.0 km2) and is home to the popular Mount Sunapee Resort. The mountain extends south to Pillsbury State Park in the towns of Goshen and Washington.

El Marquesado Wind Farm has a capacity of 198 megawatts (MW) and is Spain's second largest wind farm, located in Granada. The Shiloh wind power plant is a wind farm located in the Montezuma Hills of Solano County, California, USA, close to Bird's Landing and Collinsville, 40 miles (64 km) northeast of San Francisco. It has a nameplate capacity of 505 megawatts (MW) of power and was built in four stages between 2005 and 2012.

Klondike Wind Farm

Klondike Wind farm is located in Sherman County, east of the small agricultural community of Wasco, in the north-central part of the U.S. state of Oregon. It was built in four phases and is owned and operated by Iberdrola. The first phase was built in 2001 and the latest in 2008.

The Hódmezővásárhely Wind Farm is an under construction wind power project in Csongrád County, Hungary. It will have 14 individual wind turbines with a nominal output of around 2 MW which will deliver up to 28 MW of power, enough to power over 11,077 homes, with a capital investment required of approximately US$45 million.

The 404 megawatt (MW) Peñascal Wind Farm is located in Kenedy County, Texas and was completed in April 2010 by Iberdrola.

Wind power in New Hampshire

Wind power in New Hampshire began in 1980, with the installation of the world's first wind farm at Crotched Mountain, consisting of 20 30 kW wind turbines, although it closed decades ago. Three wind power projects are operating in the state of New Hampshire – Lempster Mountain, which opened in 2008, Granite Wind, which opened in late 2011, and Granite Reliable Wind Farm - as of 2018.

The Locust Ridge Wind Farm is a large wind farm located near Mahanoy City in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. The first phase, Locust Ridge I, has 13 Gamesa 2MW Wind Turbines that began commercial operation in 2006. The wind farm has a combined total nameplate capacity of 26 MW, producing about 68,328 megawatt-hours of electricity annually, which is enough to power 24,000 homes.

The Casselman Wind Power Project is a wind farm in Somerset County, Pennsylvania with 23 GE 1.5 MW Wind Turbines that began commercial operation in 2007. The wind farm has a combined total nameplate capacity of 34.5 megawatts, but actually produces about 90,666 megawatt-hours of electricity annually. Power is being sold to NSTAR under a power purchase agreement, and will go to the Boston area.

Jericho Mountain, also known locally as Black Mountain, is a mountain in Coös County, New Hampshire, in the United States. It has an elevation of 2,454 feet (748 m).

Dodge Brook State Forest is a protected area in the town of Lempster, New Hampshire. It was purchased by the state in 1919 for reforestation. It is located on both sides of New Hampshire Route 10 with a larger parcel on the east side. The west parcel abuts Dodge Brook and has been home to stands of larch. The area was logged for spruce a couple years before it was originally purchased.
