Lena Saradnik (born January 23,1947) is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives. [1] She represented the 26th District for a single term during the 48th Legislature,winning the November 2006 election,filling the seat vacated by Steve Huffman,who chose not to seek re-election. Russell Jones was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives,representing Arizona's 24th District twice,the first time from January 2005 until January 2007,and the second time for two terms from January 2009 to January 2013. After his first term,Jones chose not to run in the 2006 election,and was replaced by Theresa Ulmer In the following election in 2008,Jones re-entered the race,and defeated Ulmer in the general election.
Martha Garcia was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 2003 through 2011. She was first elected to the House in November 2004,and was re-elected twice,in 2006 and 2008. Although eligible to run for re-election in 2010,she chose not to.
Nancy Young Wright was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 2009 through 2011. She was elected to the House in November 2008. She ran for re-election in 2010,but was defeated.
Robert Blendu was a member of the Arizona State Senate from 2003 through 2009. He was first elected to the Senate in November 2002,and was re-elected twice,in 2004 and 2006. In 2008 Blendu decided to not seek re-election to the Senate and ran for a seat in the Arizona House of Representatives in the same district. However,he lost to Steve Montenegro and Jerry Weiers in the Republican primary.
Trish Groe is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives,serving from 2005 through 2009. A Republican,she was first elected to the House in November 2004,and was re-elected in 2006.
Jackie Thrasher was a member of the Arizona house of representatives from 2007 to 2009. She was elected to the house in November 2006. In 2008,she ran for re-election,winning the Democrat primary,while losing in the general election to the fellow incumbent James Weiers and Doug Quelland. She attempted to regain her seat in 2010,winning the Democrat primary,but losing in the general election to Jim Weiers and Kimberly Yee. After redistricting,in 2012 she attempted to return to the house in District 20,winning the Democrat primary,but losing to Paul Boyer and Carl Seel.
Pete Rios was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives and the Arizona Senate,serving two stretches in the Senate and a single term in the House. He first ran,unsuccessfully,for the House in 1980. In 1982 he ran for the State Senate,winning the seat from Arizona's 7th District. He won re-election in 1984,1986,1988,1990,and 1992. He served as the Senate President during the 40th Legislature from 1991–1992. In 1994,he did not run for re-election to the Senate,instead choosing to run for the Arizona Secretary of State,a bid for which he was unsuccessful. In 1996 Rios once again ran for the Senate,regaining his seat in District 7. He won election three times,the first two in 1998 and 2000 to District,and then to District 23 in 2002,after re-districting. In 2004,due to Arizona's term limit laws,Rios was unable to run again for the Senate,and chose to run for the House seat from District 23,which he won. He won re-election in 2006. He did not run for re-election in 2008.
Theresa Ulmer was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for a single term. She represented the 24th District during the 48th Legislature,winning the November 2006 election. She lost to Russell Jones during the general election during her unsuccessful re-election bid in 2008.
Jennifer Burns was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for three terms. She represented the 25th District,winning for the first time in November 2002. She won re-election in 2004 and 2006. She lost to Russell Jones during her unsuccessful re-election bid in 2008. Even though she was eligible to run in the 2008 election,she chose not to.
Tom Prezelski is an American author,and was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives,representing the 29th District. He was first appointed to the legislature by the Pima County Board of Supervisors on February 11,2003 to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Victor Soltero. Soltero resigned on January 23 when he was appointed by the same Board of Supervisors to fill the vacancy in the State Senate when Ramón Valadez did not take the Oath of Office. He won re-election in 2004 and 2006. In his 2008 re-election bid,he came in third in the Democratic primary,behind eventual winners of the general election Matt Heinz and Daniel Patterson.
Marian McClure is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives,initially representing the 9th District before redistricting in 2002 moved her to the 30th District. She was first elected to the House in November 2000. She won re-election in 2002,2004,and 2006. Due to Arizona term limits,she was ineligible to run for re-election in 2008. Instead,she ran for the Arizona State Senate,where she lost in the Republican primary to incumbent Frank Antenori,who went on to re-election in the general election.
Linda Aguirre is a former member of the Arizona State Senate and the Arizona House of Representatives,initially representing the 23rd District before redistricting in 2002 moved her to the 16th District. She was first elected to the House in November 1992. She won re-election to the House in 1994 and 1996.
Toni Hellon was a member of the Arizona State Senate from January 2001 until January 2007. Prior to running for the Senate,Hellon held several government positions in Pima Countyduring the 1990s,including Chief Deputy Clerk and Chief Deputy Recorder.
Colette Rosatti was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from January 2003 until January 2007. She was first elected to the House in November 2002,representing the new re-districted District 8. She won re-election in 2004. She chose not to run for re-election to the House in 2006,instead challenging incumbent Carolyn S. Allen in the Republican primary for the Arizona State Senate. She lost in the primary,and Allen went on to win re-election in the general election.
Cheryl Chase is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives from January 2001 until January 2007. She was first elected to the House in November 2000,representing District 7. After redistricting in 2002,Chase was reelected in both 2002,now representing District 23,and 2004. Chase did not run for re-election to the House in 2006,instead choosing to run for the Arizona State Senate. She lost in the general election to Rebecca Rios.
Ted Downing is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives from January 2003 until January 2007. In 2000 he ran for the State House of Representatives for District 13. Along with Gabrielle Giffords,he was one of the two candidates to win the Democratic primary. However,in the general election,while Giffords won,Downing came in third,losing to Carol Somers. In November 2002,he ran again for the house,this time in District 28 following redistricting,and won. He won re-election to the House in 2004. In 2006,Downing decided not to seek re-election to the House,and chose to run for the State Senate. However,he lost in the Democrat primary to Paula Aboud,who ran unopposed in the general election. He ran again in the 2010 election for the Senate seat from District 28,this time as an independent,finishing a distant third in the election.
Sylvia Laughter was an American politician who was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from January 1999 until January 2005. She was the first Navajo woman to serve in the Arizona legislature,as well as the first and only politically independent legislator to serve in the state legislature since Arizona's statehood in 1912.

Debra Brimhall is a former member of the Arizona House of Representatives. She served in the House from January 1997 through January 2003,serving district 4. After redistricting in 2002,she ran for re-election in District 5,but lost in the Republican primary to Jake Flake and Bill Konopnicki.
