Lenny Valentino was a dream pop band from Mysłowice, Poland formed in 1998. They disbanded in 2001. Lenny Valentino formed in 1998, with guitarist/vocalist Artur Rojek (of the band Myslovitz) as the primary songwriter. Mietall Waluś (bass), Michał Koterba (guitar), and Wojciech Kuderski (drums) completed the band. The band's name is taken from a song by British group The Auteurs: "Lenny Valentino" appears on the 1994 album Now I'm a Cowboy . Kuderski was replaced on drums by Bartosz Królikowski in 1999. In 2000, Lenny Valentino underwent further personnel changes and added all three members of Ścianka—Maciej Cieślak (guitar), Arkady Kowalczyk (drums), and Jacek Lachowicz (keyboard).

Their first and only album, Uwaga! Jedzie tramwaj (roughly: Watch out! The tram is coming), was recorded in April 2001 and produced by Cieślak. The album was released on 12 November 2001 on Sissy Records, a branch of BMG. Uwaga! Jedzie tramwaj received mostly positive reviews, including an MTV Poland award.

After touring Poland in support of their album, Lenny Valentino disbanded in December 2001 and the members focused on other projects. Rojek continued to work with Myslovitz, Waluś focused on Negatyw's debut album Paczatarez, and the other three returned to Ścianka.

In 2006, they performed at Off Festival, of which Rojek is creative director, in their hometown Mysłowice.

He was also the guitarist, vocalist, and main songwriter for the dream pop band Lenny Valentino, which formed in 1998 and disbanded in 2001.

Ścianka

Ścianka is a Polish rock band formed in 1994 in Sopot by guitarist Maciej Cieślak. In 1998 Ścianka were signed by independent label Biodro Records and recorded their debut album entitled Statek kosmiczny Ścianka. After its release, the group received critical and audience acclaim. Their next full-length album, Dni wiatru, moved away from the garage-rock sound of their debut album.

Jacek Lachowicz Polish musician, author and producer (born 1972)

Jacek Lachowicz is a Polish musician, author and producer. He began his musical career playing synthesizer in the alternative rock group Ścianka from 1996 to 2005. He played synthesizer in 2000 in the group Lenny Valentino before the group split in 2001. Currently, he has a solo career as a singer-songwriter under the name "Lachowicz". His songs are associated with alternative music and he made the top of the major Polish music channels with Płyń. In early 2008, Lachowicz and Ania Dabrowska joined together to perform Płyń, which then became for many weeks the most-heard song on Polish radio stations.

Zbigniew Cybulski Award Polish film award

The Zbigniew Cybulski Award is a Polish annual film award given to best young Polish actors. It was established in 1969 on the initiative of Wiesława Czapińska and named to commemorate Zbigniew Cybulski who is widely considered one of the greatest Polish actors of the second half of the 20th century. It is among the most prominent awards in Polish cinema and the past winners include some of the most popular and critically acclaimed Polish actors. It was continuously awarded by the film magazine Ekran from 1969 to 1995 and after a ten-year hiatus it was reactivated in 2005 by the Kino Foundation. In 2008, the foundation published a book Być jak Cybulski?, which is devoted to all the past recipients of the award.
