Nadjem Lens Annab (born 20 July 1988) is a Belgian-Algerian professional football player who plays as a midfielder.
Born in Belgium, Annab's family is originally from Algeria. [1] His father is an ethnic Chaoui from Merouana, while his mother is also from the Batna province. He has two brothers and a younger sister.
Annab signed a contract with Westerlo in April 2008, while he was playing for Eisden Sport in Limburg Third Division, the 7th of 8 levels in the Belgian football league system. Annab also played futsal for ZVK Eisden Dorp at that moment, but quit after his surprise transfer. [2] Lens Annab made his debut at the highest level in a 0–1 victory against Mouscron on 12 September 2009 and from then on featured regularly in the team. Following the relegation of Westerlo in 2012, Annab chose to accept an offer from ES Sétif, allowing him to move to his second home country, Algeria. [3] On 5 August 2014 Lens Annab signs a contract with second division team ASV Geel.

The 2009–10 season of the Belgian Pro League was the 107th season of top-tier football in Belgium. The season began on 31 July 2009 with the first matches of the regular season, and ended in May 2010 with the last matches of the playoff round. Standard Liège were the defending champions.
The 2011–12 season of the Belgian Pro League was the 109th season of top-tier football in Belgium. It began on 29 July 2011 with the first match of the regular season and ended in May 2012 with the last matches of the playoff rounds. The defending champions were Genk, who this time ended in third position, while the competition was won by Anderlecht, who clenched the title after a 1–1 draw against Club Brugge with two games left to play in the Championship Playoff.
The 2011–12 season was Oud-Heverlee Leuven's 10th competitive season since the 2002 fusion between Stade Leuven, Daring Club Leuven and Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee. It was their first season in the Belgian Pro League after being promoted from the Belgian Second Division and the first time in 61 years a team from the city of Leuven played in the highest division. OH Leuven finished in 14th place, one place clear of the relegation zone, thereby prolonging their stay at the top flight. Their cup run was unsuccessful, losing out to Rupel Boom form the third division in round 6, which was the round where the team entered the cup.
The 2012–13 season was Oud-Heverlee Leuven's 11th competitive season in professional football. It was their second season in the Belgian Pro League. A promising start by OH Leuven and a 5-match winning streak in October resulted in a third place after 13 matchdays, but thereafter the team dropped in the standings to finally end 10th. In the playoffs, OH Leuven won their group but then lost the playoff final to Gent. In the Belgian Cup, OHL immediately lost their first match just like the previous season, this time going out to Oostende.

Following a loss on the final day of the regular season at home against Club Brugge, OH Leuven dropped into 16th place and was relegated as Westerlo beat Waasland-Beveren. OH Leuven also had a mediocre cup run, struggling past Belgian Second Division team Lommel United before falling 1-0 to Mouscron-Péruwelz.

The 2021–22 season of the Belgian First Division B began in August 2021 and ended in April 2022, with Westerlo winning the title by a considerable margin over RWDM, the latter losing the promotion play-off and hence not promoted together with Westerlo. Virton ended in last place and would have been relegated, were it not for the fact that after the season Excel Mouscron was not awarded a licence, causing them to be relegated instead.
