Leon Tyrone Pennington (born December 25, 1963) is a former American football linebacker who played three games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League in 1987. He played college football at University of Florida. [1] [2]

He played college football for the Marshall Thundering Herd, winning the Sammy Baugh Trophy as a senior, and was selected by the New York Jets in the first round of the 2000 NFL draft. Pennington spent his first eight seasons with the Jets and was a member of the Miami Dolphins in his last three.
