Leon Stewart (born 21 July 1942) is a Guyanese cricketer. He played in six first-class matches for British Guiana in 1968/69 and 1969/70. [1]

Rohan Bholalall Kanhai is a Guyanese former cricketer of Indo-Guyanese origin, who represented the West Indies in 79 Test matches. He is widely considered to be one of the best batsmen of the 1960s. Kanhai featured on several great West Indian teams, playing alongside Sir Garfield Sobers, Roy Fredericks, Lance Gibbs, Clive Lloyd, and Alvin Kallicharran among others. C. L. R. James wrote in the New World Journal that Kanhai was "the high peak of West Indian cricketing development", and praised his "adventuresome" attitude. Kanhai was part of the West Indian team that won the inaugural, 1975 Cricket World Cup.

The Guyana cricket team is the representative first class cricket team of Guyana. The England national cricket team toured the West Indies from January to April 1990 and played a five-match Test series against the West Indies cricket team which the West Indies won 2–1. The Second Test, scheduled as England’s first at Bourda since 1973–74 due to the Guyanese government’s refusal to admit Robin Jackman in 1980–81 and to admit anyone who had played or coached in apartheid South Africa in 1985–86, was abandoned without a ball being bowled. In addition, the teams played a five-match Limited Overs International (LOI) series which the West Indies won 3–0.
