In his career,he played for the Philadelphia Giants,New York Lincoln Giants,Lincoln Stars,Indianapolis ABC's,Chicago American Giants,Brooklyn Royal Giants,and Bacharach Giants.

He also managed for twelve seasons in the Puerto Rican Winter League,winning six pennants,and led the Caribbean World Series champions in 1951.
