Letters to the Editor, Vol. 1 (2007) is an acoustic EP from Andrew Osenga. Recorded and mixed in his Nashville, TN basement studio, Letters to the Editor, Vol. 1 was released online as a free digital-only download from his website in June 2007. It is his fourth solo project, following the full-length studio album The Morning (2006).
The album is the result of an interesting experiment: Andrew asked the internet fan community that read his blog to send in pictures, drawings, paintings, stories, cool words, or ideas that he would develop into fully fleshed-out songs. Each of the six songs on the album draw primarily from these submissions, an example of a unique form of community interaction between fan and artist.
of Montreal is an American indie pop band from Athens, Georgia. It was founded by frontperson Kevin Barnes in 1996, named after a failed romance between Barnes and a woman "of Montreal." The band is identified as part of the Elephant 6 collective. Throughout its existence, of Montreal's musical style has evolved considerably and drawn inspiration from 1960s psychedelic pop acts.
Andrew Wegman Bird is an American indie rock multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Since 1996, he has released 15 studio albums, as well as several live albums and EPs, spanning various genres including swing music, indie rock, and folk music. He is primarily known for his unique style of violin playing, accompanied by loop and effect pedals, whistling, and voice. In the '90s, he sang and played violin in several jazz ensembles, including Squirrel Nut Zippers and Kevin O'Donnell's Quality Six. He went on to start his own swing ensemble, Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire, which released three albums between 1998 and 2001. Weather Systems (2003) was his first solo album, and a departure from jazz music into indie music.
Wrecking Ball is the eighteenth studio album by American country artist Emmylou Harris, released on September 26, 1995 through Elektra Records. Moving away from her traditional acoustic sound, Harris collaborated with producer Daniel Lanois and engineer Mark Howard. The album has been noted for atmospheric feel, and featured guest performances by Steve Earle, Larry Mullen, Jr., Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Lucinda Williams and Neil Young, who wrote the title song.
Downhere is a Christian rock band from Canada. They have released six studio albums to date: downhere (2001), So Much for Substitutes (2003), Wide-Eyed and Mystified (2006), Ending Is Beginning (2008), How Many Kings: Songs for Christmas (2009), and On the Altar of Love (2011) and have won several Juno and Covenant Awards.

Spy Glass Blue is an American post-punk/new wave/Britpop band formed by Allan Aguirre of Scaterd Few, is credited for legitimizing and authenticating the post-punk genre in Christian alternative music (ACM) much in the same way that Scaterd Few defined punk rock in Contemporary Christian music (CCM). In the words of the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music, Spy Glass Blue is a "rare example of Christian goth music." As Allan's solo effort shows Allan's artier side where Scaterd Few showed his edgier side. Aguirre likens the band's presence to the restructuring of other Christian Alternative bands: Mortal to Fold Zandura or the Crucified to Stavesacre.
Ghosty is a Lawrence, Kansas-based indie rock band formed in 1999. They are best known for their positive reviews by NPR, Currently the Ghosty lineup consists of Andrew Connor, Mike Nolte, David Wetzel and Josh Adams (drumset). Ghosty completed a coast-to-coast tour of the United States at the end of 2006 and began working on a new full-length album, Answers, which was released on January 11. Their most recent self-titled album was released on High Dive Records.
Andrew Osenga is an American singer/songwriter and progressive rock musician. He also writes, produces, engineers and plays guitar for other artists. Formerly the lead singer of The Normals, which broke up in 2003 for financial and family reasons, Osenga currently pursues a solo career in which he has released four albums. He is also a member of the band Caedmon's Call; he had taken over as vocalist/guitarist while Derek Webb was gone from the band. In 2006, Osenga co-founded the Square Peg Alliance along with 12 other independent Nashville artists. In 2014, Osenga took a job with Capitol Records in A&R for their Christian music division.
The Morning (2006) is a studio album from Andrew Osenga. It is his second solo full-length studio album, following the short EP Souvenirs and Postcards (2004).

Jamie Rowe is a musician best known as the lead vocalist of the Christian hard rock band, Guardian. He has also been vocalist for New York-based AdrianGale, power pop band, London Calling and most recently collaborating with Jamey Perrenot in The Lost Days of Summer. He has also released several solo works including the single "I Do" written for his wife, Amber Rowe, for their wedding. In 2019, a solo album, This Is Home, was recorded.
Tenth Avenue North is an American contemporary Christian music (CCM) band from West Palm Beach, Florida that takes its name from an east-west road in Palm Beach County. The group was formed while members attended Palm Beach Atlantic University. It features Mike Donehey on vocals and acoustic guitar, Jeff Owen on electric guitar and backup vocals, and Ruben Juarez III on bass guitar and backup vocals. The band has released eight studio albums. On February 26, 2020, they announced a farewell tour with the intention of disbanding thereafter.
Never Shout Never was an American rock band formed in Joplin, Missouri in 2007, originally as a solo project of Christofer Drew. The group includes Drew, bassist Taylor MacFee, and drummer Hayden Kaiser. Never Shout Never has released six full-length albums and nine EPs. The touring band that accompanied Drew when NSN was a solo project were known as "The Shout" until the decision to incorporate the members into the Never Shout Never name full time.
