Levis Lovae Opiyo Omondi is a Kenyan goalkeeper currently in the ranks of Kenyan Premier League side A.F.C. Leopards. [1]
Levis is an alumnus of Kenyatta Primary School, Thika, and Tetu High School. His star started to rise when, while at Tetu High, he emerged as the best keeper in Central region in 2010 and 2011 while featuring for Shimanzi and AC Thika in Safaricom's U23 nationwide tournament Sakata Ball. After High School, he joined Kenyan Premier League side Thika United in 2013. He was loaned out to second-tier side Mahakama F.C. [2] on a six-month spell to gain work experience.
He was then off to Premiership sides Posta Rangers and Western Stima in 2016 before landing at Mathare United in 2017. [3] [4] He returned to Posta Rangers [5] in 2018 before heading out to join German side Fortuna Babelsberg. [6]
He was back to Posta Rangers for the 2018/19 season before joining Vihiga United for the remainder of the season. Levis then joined promotion chasing Nairobi City Stars [7] [8] then crossed over to Gor Mahia F.C. in 2020, [9] [10] [11] then to Wazito FC [12] in 2021, and finally to A.F.C. Leopards [13] the same year.
Opiyo has also been part of the Kenya national football team [14] after making the provisional squad for a series of friendly games in Mar 2023. [15] [16]
Levis is known for his vocal command and his ability to organize his defense line. He is known for his quick reflexes, [17] [18] as a penalty-stopper, [19] and for playing the ball from the back due to comfort of the ball on his feet enabling his team to build play from the rare.

Peter Pinchez Opiyo Odhiambo, is a Kenyan midfielder, currently in the ranks of Kenyan Premier League side Nairobi City Stars. He previously played for other Kenyan topflight clubs including Tusker, A.F.C. Leopards, Thika United with loan spells at Gor Mahia. He also turned out for Finnish Veikkausliiga sides FF Jaro and SJK.
The Mashemeji derby, also known as the Ingo-Dala derby, is the name of the local derby between two major association football teams in Kenya: A.F.C. Leopards and Gor Mahia. Both teams are currently based in the capital Nairobi, but originate from the Western region. It is the oldest rivalry in Kenyan football history.

The competition's defending champions are Sofapaka, who beat second-tier side Posta Rangers 2–1 in the previous final. Unlike the previous competition, no teams were seeded and given byes to further rounds, with the Football Kenya Federation's media officer John Kariuki explaining the decision as a way of "trying to make the competition more exciting because this being the domestic cup competition, we want the thrill of big teams facing the prospect of losing in the hands of lower-ranked teams."

Paul Okatwa Odhiambo is a former Kenyan striker who until recently was the head coach at Kenyan National Super League side Nairobi United.
