Lewis Del Mar is an American experimental pop [1] duo from Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York City. Consisting of singer and guitarist Danny Miller, and drummer and producer Max Harwood, [2] the group first received attention in early 2015 when their debut single Loud(y) was featured in the number one spot on Hype Machine. [1] [3] They released their debut EP in January 2016, [2] which peaked at number 7 on Billboard Emerging Artists. [4] Their self-titled debut album was released on October 7, 2016, through Columbia Records.
The group's self titled debut album Lewis Del Mar received support from NPR, Vice, and The New York Times , and led to late night performances on The Late Late Show with James Corden and Conan . Rolling Stone called the lead single "Loud(y)" "A beachside dreamscape with acoustic guitars and electronic drums washing up on shore", [5] while Los Angeles radio station KCRW said it was "one of the best tunes to come out [in 2016]. The album also led to an international headlining tour from 2016–2017, including stops at globally renowned festivals such as Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, and Lollapalooza.
In May 2020, the group announced that their second album AUGUST would be released on August 21, 2020. The album's lead single, "The Ceiling" was premiered by Zane Lowe as a Beats 1 Radio "Worlds First", and received support from Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1's "Future Sounds". Culture Collide called the single "a triumphant return", [6] and TIME named it one of the best songs of May 2020. [7] "The Ceiling" was followed by singles "Border (CH. III)" and "Rosalie (CH. II)", the latter of which Dujour referred to as "a declaration of the importance of human connections and relationships." [8]

The Neighbourhood is an American rock band formed in Newbury Park, California, in 2011. The band is composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott, and drummer Brandon Alexander Fried. After releasing two EPs, I'm Sorry... and Thank You, The Neighbourhood released its first full-length album I Love You. on April 23, 2013, via Columbia Records. The same year, the EP "The Love Collection" was released; and in November 2014, a mixtape titled #000000 & #FFFFFF. A second album, Wiped Out! was released on October 30, 2015. On March 9, 2018, a self-titled third studio album came out, preceded by the release of two EPs: Hard on September 22, 2017, which briefly charted on the Billboard 200, and To Imagine on January 12, 2018. After the release of the album, the tracks from the extended plays not included on the final tracklisting were collected in another EP, Hard to Imagine.

Glass Animals are a British indie rock band formed in Oxford in 2010. Led by singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Bayley, the group also features his childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane. Bayley wrote and produced all three Glass Animals albums. Bayley spent his childhood in Massachusetts and Texas before relocating to Oxford, where he met the other band members at St Edward's School, Oxford, a private boarding school. Cigarettes After Sex is an American dream pop band formed in El Paso, Texas, in 2008 by Greg Gonzalez. The band is known for their ethereal, limerent and often dream-like musical style, lyrics often based on the themes of romance and love, as well as Gonzalez's voice, which has been described as "androgynous". While marketed as an ambient pop band, Cigarettes After Sex are also considered to be shoegaze, slowcore and indie rock.
