Lewis Page (born September 30, 1967) is a Canadian soccer coach, who currently serves as head coach of Halifax Tides FC in the Northern Super League.

Early life

Page was born in Montréal, Québec and moved to Chester, Nova Scotia at age 12. [1] [2]

Coaching career

In 1996, Page was named the head coach of the women's soccer team of the University of Prince Edward Island and an assistant with the men's team. [3] In 2000, Page was named the head coach of the men's soccer team of UPEI. [3] In 2013, he served as the head coach of both teams for one season, and then returned to the dual role in January 2020. [3] [4] He was named the AUS Coach of the Year four times (2000, 2002, 2009, and 2011) and the national CIS Coach of the Year in 2002. [5] [6] With the men's team, he won the AUS Championship in 2002 and a bronze medal at the CIS National Championships in 2014. [7]

Between 2000 and 2011, he served as an assistant coach with the Canada U17 women's team and other youth levels. [2] In 2011, he served as an assistant with the Canada women's senior team and attended some men's youth camps as an assistant. [2]

In July 2024, he was named the head coach of the Halifax Tides FC of the women's Northern Super League, ahead of the inaugural league season in 2025. [8] [9]

William Stewart MacMillan is a Canadian hockey coach and player. MacMillan played and later coached in the National Hockey League (NHL). After several years with the Canada national team, including playing at two World Championships and the 1968 Winter Olympics, winning a bronze medal, MacMillan made his NHL debut in 1970 with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played for Toronto, the Atlanta Flames, and New York Islanders between 1970 and 1977, and retired from playing in 1978. He became a coach during his final year, spent in the minor CHL and moved to the NHL in 1979 when he became an assistant coach for the Islanders. He was named the head coach of the Colorado Rockies in 1980, also serving as general manager the next season. MacMillan stayed with the team as they relocated in 1982 to become the New Jersey Devils, and was let go early in the 1983–84 season. Billy is the brother of Bob MacMillan.

Ryan Anstey is a Canadian former professional soccer player. He played in 2006 for Toronto Lynx, where the Lynx finished second in the Open Canada Cup. Anstey also won a national championship with his hometown Churchill Arms FC in 2010. In 2005, he was named Canadian University player of the year.

Calvin Tyler Scott, who goes by Tyler Scott is a Canadian professional basketball player for the NBL team Halifax Hurricanes. He was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, attended Halifax West High School and was the top scorer for the Halifax West Warriors. After graduating from Halifax West, Scott attended Lee Academy, a prep school in Maine. After Lee Academy, Scott enrolled at Acadia University in Wolfville, NS, where he averaged 11.7 points per game, but after realizing Acadia wasn't where he felt 100% comfortable he committed to UPEI with Tim Kendrick. At UPEI Scott went on to average 23 points per game in his first year and became a first team all-Canadian and during his second and third year at UPEI, Scott was named second team all-star and was 2nd in scoring in the AUS and 1st in scoring in his 5th year. On February 26, 2017, Scott made it into top 5 AUS scoring of all time. During his 5th year Scott also passed 1,700 career points. Scott was drafted by the Prince Edward Island Storm basketball team in the 2016-2017 National Basketball League of Canada draft.

They have served as the host team for the 2019 U Sports Women's Ice Hockey Championship, 2020 U Sports Women's Ice Hockey Championship, and the 2022 U Sports Women's Ice Hockey Championship, although the 2020 tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. Despite being cancelled after one day, the 2020 event was named the SCORE! Event of the Year by PEI Amateur Sport.

It will compete in the Northern Super League, in the highest level of the Canadian soccer league system, and is one of two professional soccer clubs in Atlantic Canada, alongside the HFX Wanderers of the men's Canadian Premier League. The club's colours are cyan, purple, and grey, and its crest references the saltire of the flag of Nova Scotia. The Tides will play their home games at the Wanderers Grounds in downtown Halifax, and its first season will commence in 2025 as one of the six charter members of the Northern Super League, with Lewis Page as their head coach.
