Biography

Li was born in China. At 11 years of age, Li Zhe became one of the youngest professional Go players ever. Two years later, in 2002, Li was promoted to 3 dan. Li made more history in 2006 when he became the youngest title holder in China, at 16 years old.

Li Zhe is a Chinese tennis player who plays mainly in the ATP Challenger and ITF Futures Tours. On 11 November 2019, he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of 193. His highest doubles ranking of 136 was achieved on 28 February 2011. In December 2018 Li defeated his compatriot Ze Zhang in three sets to win the 2019 Australian Open Asia-Pac Wildcard Play-off, which secured a wildcard place for Li to make his grand slam singles debut aged 32 at the 2019 Australian Open.
