Waiting is the debut studio album by American rock band Thursday. The album was produced by Sal Villanueva and released on Eyeball Records in 1999. The photography throughout the album's artwork, with the exception of live shots, was done by Tom Keeley's uncle, Dennis Keeley.

Produced by Thursday vocalist Geoff Rickly, it was recorded at Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor, New York, in May 2002. In the band's 2006 documentary Life on the Murder Scene, the band describes the painful conditions lead singer Gerard Way was in during the recording of the album due to a toothache, causing the album’s recording to take longer than planned.

The Actual were a four-piece alternative rock group from Los Angeles, California headed by guitarist and singer Max Bernstein. They were signed to Eyeball Records and released one album as a three-piece for the label, "Songs On Radio Idaho", before signing with Scott Weiland's label Softdrive Records. They opened for the supergroup Velvet Revolver at the Aladdin Hotel in the summer of 2005 and also played the Volcom stage on the 2007 Warped Tour. In 2005, The Actual contributed two songs "Promised Land" and "Dancing On The Perimeter" to the film "Bewitched" (2005).

The Oval Portrait was an American rock band from West Paterson, New Jersey active in the early-to-mid-2000s. Their name was taken from a short story by Edgar Allan Poe. They released the LP "Life in Death" on Eyeball Records in 2003. The band's musical style contained an eclectic mix of influences ranging from post-hardcore and post-punk to psychedelic rock and experimental metal. The lyrical imagery on many songs contained bleak, unsettling subject matter and numerous literary references. "Life In Death" featured guest performances by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance on the songs "Barnabus Collins Has More Skeletons in His Closet Than Vincent Price" and "From My Cold Dead Hands", the latter also featuring Sarah Balliet of Murder by Death. The group disbanded in 2004 with several members going on to form Mermaid in a Manhole and The Sun The Moon The Stars.
Castlemania is the eleventh studio album by the American garage rock band Thee Oh Sees, the fifth album released by the band under the name "Thee Oh Sees" and their eleventh overall. It was released on May 20, 2011, by In The Red Records. It was the first of two studio albums to be made by the band in 2011, the other being Carrion Crawler/The Dream, which was released in November. It was recorded by a skeleton lineup of John Dwyer and Brigid Dawson along with some guest musicians.
