Lifted Bells are an American rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band consists of members of the bands Their/They're/There, Braid, and Stay Ahead of the Weather. [1]

Career

Lifted Bells began in 2013 with the release of a self-titled EP, via Naked Ally Records. [2] [3] In 2014, Lifted Bells released their second EP titled Lights Out via Naked Ally. [4] In 2016, Lifted Bells signed to Run For Cover Records and released their third EP titled Overreactor. [5] [6] [7]

Advent is a hardcore band from Kernersville, North Carolina. The band featured members of an earlier post-hardcore band named Beloved, and was formed in 2005 after the break of Beloved. The band had released two albums under the label Solid State Records. The band announced in July 2011 that they had disbanded, and held two final shows on September 2 and 3 in South Carolina and North Carolina, respectively. The band, as of 2015, had reunited and is releasing a new album titled, Pain and Suffering. The band has recently signed to Bridge 9. The group has been called "...one of the state's heaviest exports..."

Taking influence from such pop punk acts as Blink-182, Saves the Day, and Taking Back Sunday, Man Overboard played a brand of upbeat and poppy pop punk with the emotion of 90s emo acts such as The Promise Ring. The band was signed to Rise Records. They are well known for their motto within the pop punk scene to "Defend Pop Punk". On January 28, 2016 they announced a hiatus on their official website; the hiatus ended on August 2, 2018 when the band announced a 10-year anniversary tour.

Their song "Novocaine" topped the Alternative Songs chart and has received over 66 million streams and video views as of July 2021. They were signed with Atlantic Records as of 2013, but switched to Another Century, a smaller label, in October 2016.
