As of September 2014, Hausser is ranked sixteenth in the world for two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation, following his successes at the North American Championships, European Championships and ISAF Sailing World Cup Series.

Sanz Lanz placed 2nd in the men's event at the 2017 RS:X World Championships. He was born in Formentera del Segura and resides in San Francisco Javier, Formentera, Balearic Islands.
