Linda Nellie Moss is a South African politician who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the African National Congress. [1]
Moss resigned from the National Assembly with effect from 2 March 2023. Ebrahim Patel succeeded her. [2]
Although India is a parliamentary democracy, the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism, possibly due to the absence of party organizations, independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party, or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national, state, regional, and district level. The Nehru–Gandhi family has produced three Indian prime ministers, and family members have largely led the Congress party since 1978. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also has several dynastic leaders. In addition to the major national parties, other national and regional parties such as Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiv Sena, Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal Secular, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Kerala Congress, Jammu & Kashmir National Conference, Indian Union Muslim League, AIMIM, and the Nationalist Congress Party are all dominated by families, mostly those of the party founders.
Linda Jean Burney is an Australian politician, a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and the member of Parliament (MP) for the division of Barton since 2016. She was the minister for Indigenous Australians from 2022 to July 2024. She was formerly a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the district of Canterbury from 2003 to 2016 and previously a teacher. Burney is the first known woman to identify as Aboriginal to be elected to the Australian House of Representatives.
Qubudile Richard Dyantyi is a South African politician who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the National Assembly from 2019 until 2024. Before that, he was a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament and served as the Western Cape's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Local Government and Housing from 2005 to 2008. Mogamad Ganief Ebrahim Hendricks is a South African politician, businessman, lecturer and teacher who is a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa. He became an MP on 22 May 2019. He is the founder and current leader of Al Jama-ah, a party for upholding Muslim interests in South Africa. Hendricks was previously a City of Cape Town municipal councillor. Since 3 July 2024, he serves as Deputy Minister of Social Development of South Africa.
Mmoba Solomon "Solly" Malatsi is a South African politician who is currently serving as Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies in the Government of National Unity (GNU) since July 2024. He has been a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa since May 2014. He has served in the national leadership of the Democratic Alliance (DA) as a deputy federal chairperson since 2023. He has also been the party's national spokesperson since August 2022, previously holding the position from June 2018 to November 2020. Malatsi was also the Parliamentary Counsellor to the DA Parliamentary Leader. He has also held posts in the DA's shadow cabinet.
Liezl Linda van der Merwe is a South African politician who serves as a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa, representing the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP). She became an MP in May 2012.
Brenda Tirhani Mathevula is a South African politician who represented Limpopo in the National Council of Provinces. She is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters. She became a Member of Parliament in December 2016, following the cessation of Emmanuel Mtileni's party membership.

Tsepo Winston Mhlongo is a South African politician. As a member of the Democratic Alliance, he served as a councillor in the City of Johannesburg until the 2014 national election, when he was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa. After that, he was appointed Shadow Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform. Mhlongo became the Shadow Minister of Sport and Recreation in January 2017 before he was selected to be Shadow Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture in June 2019. On 1 December 2023, Mhlongo was expelled from the DA and lost his parliamentary membership. He has since joined ActionSA.

Following the death of ANC MP Tozama Mantashe, he assumed a position in the National Assembly as the next MP on ANC's Eastern Cape list.
