The Liberals, known as the Liberal People's Party until 22 November 2015, is a liberal political party in Sweden. It was a part of the Alliance centre-right coalition government led by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt from 2006 to 2014. The party is the seventh-largest party in the Swedish Riksdag. The party is a member of the Liberal International and Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
The Swedish People's Party of Finland is a liberal-centrist political party in Finland aiming to represent the interests of the minority Swedish-speaking population of Finland. An ethnic catch-all party, the party's main election issue has been since its inception the Swedish-speaking Finns' right to their own language and to maintain the Swedish language's position in Finland. The party was in governmental position 1979–2015 with one or two seats in the government and collaborated with the centre-right as well as the centre-left in the Parliament of Finland. After the 2015 election SFP was left out of the government formed by the three largest parties. In 2019, SFP has two seats in the government, the Minister of Justice and the Minister for Nordic Cooperation and Equality.
European Liberal Youth is an international organisation of liberal youth movements – mostly the youth wings of members of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party but also individual members.
The Liberal Youth of Sweden is the youth wing of the Swedish Liberals. The Liberal Youth of Sweden has a long tradition of international cooperation and is a full member of the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) and the European Liberal Youth (LYMEC). They have published the magazine Liebling - Liberal Youth since 1961.

Ulf Hjalmar Ed Kristersson is a Swedish Moderate Party politician who has served as Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the Moderate Party since October 2017. He has been a Member of the Riksdag (MP) for Södermanland County since 2014 and previously from 1994 to 2000 for Stockholm County. He previously served as Minister for Social Security from 2010 to 2014 and Chairman of the Moderate Youth League from 1988 to 1992.
Nyamko Ana Sabuni is a Swedish politician who has been Leader of the Liberals since June 2019. She previously served as Minister for Integration from 2006 to 2010 and as Minister for Gender Equality from 2006 to 2013 in the Swedish government. A member of the Liberal Party, Sabuni was elected a Member of Parliament in 2002. Sabuni made history in June 2019 by becoming the first party leader in the Swedish parliament coming from an ethnic minority and the first party leader of a refugee background.
Frida Maria Johansson Metso is a Swedish politician and was chairperson of the Liberal Youth of Sweden from 2006 to 2009. She lives in Uppsala, where she was studying psychology at Uppsala University until she took a sabbatical from her studies on being elected. She joined LUF at the age of 14 and has previously been chairperson of the Liberal Refugee Fund and 2nd vice chairperson of the Liberal Youth of Sweden.
She belongs to the social liberal left wing of the Liberal People's Party, also speaking in favor of Sweden as an alcoholic beverage control state. On foreign policy, however, she favours a somewhat more harsh stance, having openly criticized the authoritarian regimes of Myanmar, the People's Republic of China, Cuba and Belarus, citing Fidel Castro's 2008 relinquishing of power as the "last nail in [Castro's] coffin". She openly spoke in favour of a boycott of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, citing the numerous human rights abuses of the Chinese government as a just cause.
Fredrick Erik Federley is a Swedish politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Sweden. He is a member of the Centre Party, part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. He was previously a member of the Parliament of Sweden 2006-2014 and MEP since 1 July 2014. On 24 September 2015 he was elected Second Vice Chairman of the Centre Party.
Tina Cecilia Elisabeth Nordlund is a Swedish football coach and former player, most recently an assistant coach at Umeå IK. She is one of the most well known Swedish female footballers. In 2000, she won the Diamantbollen, an annual award made to the best female player in Sweden. She played for Alnö IF, Sundsvalls DFF and Umeå IK. She retired from playing football aged 25 after suffering from anorexia nervosa.
