Durupt was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. [3] [4]
She also founded the Tricities Film Studio run out of Coquitlam which offers a unique sports-oriented approach to the art of acting. [5] [6]

The television films are centered around small-town baker Hannah Swensen, portrayed by Alison Sweeney, and Detective Mike Kingston, played by Cameron Mathison.
