Chronicle Mysteries is a 2019 American/Canadian mystery film series [1] [2] that stars Alison Sweeney as Alex McPherson, a podcast host, [3] and Benjamin Ayres as Drew Godfrey, the editor of a local newspaper. [4] Set in the small Pennsylvania town of Harrington, it airs on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in the United States.

Alex McPherson is the host of a podcast who returns to her hometown of Harrington in Pennsylvania seeking answers to the disappearance of her school friend, Gina DeSavio (Lisa Durupt), who went missing twenty years ago in 1998. She teams up with the local newspaper, The Chronicle, to research the case from old case files and interviews with locals to try and find out what happened to Gina. She and newspaper editor-in-chief, Drew, have different outlooks on research and using technology but end up working together and striking a friendship. | |||||

Alison Ann Sweeney is an American actress, reality show host, director and author. Sweeney is best known for her portrayal of Samantha "Sami" Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives, a role she played under contract with the show from January 6, 1993 to October 30, 2014. In this role, she earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, four Soap Opera Digest Awards and a Fan Voted Daytime Emmy Award. After making sporadic appearances since then, she returned as a series regular in 2021. In 2007, she became the host of The Biggest Loser in its fourth season, and left the series at the end of the 16th season in 2015.

Five films for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel were created based on Fluke's book series, with the fifth movie airing on March 26, 2017. The films took a four-year hiatus before returning as the Hannah Swensen Mysteries. The films are set in the fictional town of Eden Lake in Minnesota, reverting to Lake Eden like in the novels in the sixth film.

The series airs on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel in the United States and on the W Network in Canada. Co-lead Wagner posted in April 2022 regarding her concerns about Hallmark not talking with her about the series' status. Her concern was justified. The series was officially cancelled by the network a year later, in late April 2023.
Hailey Dean Mysteries is an American/Canadian mystery film series that stars Kellie Martin as the titular character, Hailey Dean, a prosecutor working with the District Attorney's office who later quits her job to become a marriage counselor and therapist and is based on characters from Nancy Grace’s best-selling series of “Hailey Dean Mystery” novels. The series is set in Atlanta and airs on the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel in the US. Kellie Martin is not the first actress to portray Hailey Dean. Jennie Garth took on the role in a 2012 Lifetime movie based on Nancy Grace's first book in the series, "The 11th Victim". This movie was also produced by Nancy Grace.
