Lisette van de Ven (born 7 August 1969) is a Dutch beach volleyball player. [1] She competed in the women's tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics. [2]

The Netherlands women's national volleyball team is the national volleyball team of the Netherlands. It is governed by the Nederlandse Volleybalbond (NeVoBo). Following the 1995 European Championship they hosted in Arnhem and finishing fifth at the 1996 Olympics, the Dutch have had moments of success amidst instability, such as the title of the 2007 FIVB World Grand Prix, and a return to the Olympic Games in 2016, where the Netherlands got to fourth place.

He holds several positions at the University of Cambridge, where he is Professor of Modern Chinese History, Director in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at St Catharine's College and previously served as Chair of the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. He studied sinology at Leiden University. Then, after studying with Susan Naquin at the University of Pennsylvania for a period of time, he moved to Harvard University, where he studied modern Chinese history under Philip Kuhn and received his PhD.

Erik van der Ven is a Dutch professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Eerste Divisie side FC Den Bosch. As a player, he played as a midfielder for KRC Genk, Helmond Sport, TOP Oss, FC Emmen and De Treffers. He was appointed as manager of FC Den Bosch on a temporary basis in May 2019, having previously been assistant manager, before becoming the manager on a permanent basis in June 2019. He left the club in January 2021 by mutual consent.
