List of 2011 NFL draft early entrants

This list of 2011 NFL draft early entrants consists of college football players who are juniors or redshirt sophomores who have been declared eligible to be selected in the 2011 NFL draft. A player can forfeit his remaining NCAA eligibility and declare for the draft. The deadline to declare for the 2011 draft was January 15, 2011. [1]

Donald André Bly is an American football coach and former player who is cornerbacks coach for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played as a cornerback for 11 seasons in the NFL. He played college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels, earning All-American honors twice. Bly was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 1999 NFL draft, and spent four seasons with the Rams, earning a Super Bowl ring with them in Super Bowl XXXIV over the Tennessee Titans. He was selected to two Pro Bowls during his four-year tenure with the Detroit Lions, and also played for the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers.

Darrelle Shavar Revis is an American former football cornerback who played in National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. A member of the New York Jets for most of his career, Revis is considered to be the greatest cornerback of all time. Due to his prowess and ability to shut down the best receiver of opposing teams, his spot on the field was nicknamed "Revis Island".

Vontae Ottis Davis was an American professional football player who played as a cornerback for the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Illinois Fighting Illini and was selected by the Dolphins in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft. He made two Pro Bowls in his career.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Donovan Warren</span> American football player (born 1989)

Donovan Jamelle Warren is a former American football cornerback. Warren was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent following the 2010 NFL Draft. He also played with the Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears. He played college football at the University of Michigan, where he started in 34 of 36 games. As a member of the 2009 Michigan Wolverines, he led the team in interceptions, earning first-team All-Big Ten recognition from the media. Warren played high school football at Long Beach Polytechnic in California.

Alterraun Ennis Verner is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins, earning first-team All-American honors. Verner was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL draft. He was voted second-team All-Pro and named to the Pro Bowl with the Titans in 2013. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Miami Dolphins.

Brandon Harris is an American football coach and former player who currently serves as the co-defensive coordinator and cornerbacks coach for the Florida Atlantic Owls. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft. He also played for the NFL's Tennessee Titans and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes.

James Michael Smith is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the 27th pick in the 2011 NFL draft. He played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2011 Missouri Tigers football team</span> American college football season

The 2011 Missouri Tigers football team represented the University of Missouri in the 2011 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Gary Pinkel, who returned for his 11th season, and played their home games at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium. It was the Tigers' final season in the Big 12 Conference as they departed for the Southeastern Conference in 2012. They finished the season 8–5, 5–4 in Big 12 play to finish in fifth place. They were invited to the Independence Bowl where they defeated North Carolina 41–24.

George Farmer is a former American football running back. He graduated in 2011 from Junípero Serra High School in Gardena, California, and entered the NFL draft after his redshirt junior year at USC.

Morris Lee Claiborne is an American former football cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he won the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back in the country and was recognized as a unanimous All-American. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys sixth overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Marlon Humphrey</span> American football player (born 1996)

Marlon N. Humphrey is an American football cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Hoover High School, where he was named to the USA Today All-USA high school football team in 2012 and 2013. During his tenure, he won a silver medal in the 110 metres hurdles at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine. He also was named as a USA Today All-American Track and Field Team.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Trae Waynes</span> American football player (born 1992)

Trae Waynes is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Michigan State Spartans. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round, 11th overall of the 2015 NFL draft. He also spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Thomas Duarte</span> American football player (born 1995)

Thomas James Duarte is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins, and earned second-team All-Pac-12 Conference honors as a junior in 2015. After forgoing his final year of college eligibility to enter the 2016 NFL Draft, he was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round. He spent most of his two seasons with the Dolphins on their practice squad. He played for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football (AAF) in 2019.

Donte Darius Jackson is an American football cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU, and was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Deandre Baker</span> American football player (born 1997)

Deandre Lamar Baker is an American football cornerback for the DC Defenders of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football at Georgia and was drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Baker played one season with the Giants before being released by them due to charges of armed robbery, which were later dropped. He has also been a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jaylon Lawrence Johnson is an American football cornerback for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Utah.
