This is a list of the fungus species in the genus Aecidium . Many are plant pathogens as rusts.

As of 27 August 2023, the GBIF lists up to 947 species, [1] while Species Fungorum lists about 815 species (out of 1251 records). [2] About 800 species are accepted by Wijayawardene et al. 2020. [3]
