Arellano University (AU) is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian university located in Manila, the Philippines. It was founded in 1938 as a law school by Florentino Cayco Sr., the first Filipino Undersecretary of Public Instruction. The university was named after Cayetano Arellano, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. It operates seven campuses located throughout Metro Manila and the main campus is located along Legarda Street, Sampaloc, Manila. The Arellano University School of Law is autonomous and managed by the Arellano Law Foundation. Its athletic team, the Arellano University Chiefs, is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association since 2009.

The University of the Philippines Los Baños College of Forestry and Natural Resources is one of the 11 degree-granting units of the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). It started as the Forest School under the UP College of Agriculture in 1910, making it the oldest forestry school in the Philippines. It is one of the five founding units of UPLB upon its establishment in 1972.

Abraham Florendo Sarmiento Sr. was a Filipino jurist who served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from 1987 to 1991. An active figure in the political opposition against the martial law government of President Ferdinand Marcos, he was appointed to the Court by Marcos' successor, President Corazon Aquino.

The Arellano University Chiefs and Lady Chiefs are the athletic teams of Arellano University's varsity program. The university is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA). Its program includes several intercollegiate varsity sports teams for women and men.

The Silliman University College of Law is one of the constituent colleges of Silliman University, a private university in Dumaguete, Philippines. The college was founded in 1935 with Emilio Javier and Felix Gaudiel as pioneers. When the college opened, it offered a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program, but in 2009 it shifted its offering to Juris Doctor (JD). In 2019, Silliman University College of Law was ranked by the Legal Education Board (LEB) as 8th in the list of 10 Top-Performing Law Schools in the Philippines, with 66.67% or 12 out of 18 of its first time Bar Exam Takers passing the 2018 Bar Examinations.

The Arellano University School of Law (AUSL) is the law school of Arellano University. AUSL was established in 1938. The school is managed by the Arellano Law Foundation, a non-stock and non-profit organization established by the alumni and faculty members of AU in 1979. AUSL is considered a model institution by the Commission on Higher Education for providing quality education and producing successful graduates. Since 2000, the school has operated Lawphil, an online repository of Philippine jurisprudence, statutes, executive orders, and similar documents.

Raelene Elaine Villania-Arellano, known professionally as Iya Villania-Arellano, is a Filipino-Australian singer, actress, model, dancer, and television presenter. She has been widely known for her work as a VJ in the music channel MYX and as the Chika Minute and Chika in a Minute segment anchor in GMA's primetime newscast 24 Oras.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Fernando Sena</span>

Fernando Belen Sena is considered the Father of the Philippine Art Workshop for his tireless efforts in sharing his knowledge and talent with those who wish to learn. An all-around painter, Sena was born in Tondo, Manila and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in painting from the University of the East in 1971.
