BNK48 is a Thai idol group and the third international sister group of the Japanese idol group AKB48, based in Bangkok, Thailand.
The original members of the group were recruited in mid-2016 and announced in early 2017, comprising a total of 30 people. For the second generation, 27 additional members were announced on 29 April 2018. [1] On 9 August 2020, 19 third-generation members were announced, [2] and on 30 October 2022, 11 fourth-generation members were revealed. [3] Some members have left the group in a process known as graduation. As of July 2024 [update] , the group consists of 38 members, of whom 8 constitute Team BIII, 7 constitute Team NV, and the rest categorised as trainees. [4] [5] [6]
The first captain of the group is Cherprang, who also serves as general manager (shihainin). [4] Hoop is the current captain of BNK48.
The first formation of Team BIII (read B Three) was announced on 24 December 2017, originally consisting of 24 members, with Pun as captain and Jennis as vice captain. [4] There was also a team shuffle announcement on 16 November 2019, through which some members were moved to Team NV and some trainees were promoted to Team BIII. [5] [6] After Pun, Jennis and Miori left the group, Hoop is serving as the team captain and BNK48 Captain Earn is serving as the team vice captain. [3]

Team NV (read N five) formation was announced during Pun's birthday stage on 16 November 2019. Initially, Tarwaan was the team captain while Pupe was vice captain. [5] [6] After Tarwaan, Pupe and Nine left the group, Popper is serving as the team captain and Kaofrang is serving as the team vice captain. [3]

BNK48 is a Thai idol girl group and the third international sister group of Japan's AKB48, following Indonesia's JKT48 and China's SNH48 (Former).
Prachaya Ruangroj, known professionally as Singto, is a Thai actor. He is well known in Thailand for his role as Kongphop in SOTUS: The Series released in 2016.
The discography of BNK48 consists of sixteen singles and four studio albums. The major singles have title tracks that are sung by a selection of the BNK48 members, called senbatsu. The songs are covers of the Japanese songs originally recorded by AKB48, the sister group of BNK48, with the Japanese lyrics translated into Thai. And it's the original song with permission from Superball.
Cherprang Areekul is a member of the Thai idol girl group BNK48, an international sister group of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. She is one of the first-generation members of the group, and is also the first captain of the group and the current general manager of the group.
"Shonichi" is a song by the Japanese idol girl group AKB48, featured on the group's ninth single "Baby! Baby! Baby!" released in 2008, 12th single "Namida Surprise!" released in 2009, and second album Kamikyokutachi released in 2010.
CGM48 is a Thai idol girl group. It is the first domestic sister group of the Thai idol group BNK48, and the eighth international sister group of AKB48, after Indonesia's JKT48, China's SNH48 (former), Thailand's BNK48, Philippines's MNL48, China's AKB48 Team SH, Taiwan's AKB48 Team TP, and Vietnam's SGO48 (disbanded). The group is named after Chiang Mai, a city in Northern Thailand, where it will be based.
Milin Dokthian, or nickname Namneung, is a former member of the Thai idol girl group BNK48, an international sister group of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. She is one of the first generation members of the group, initially promoted to BNK48 Team BIII. Then, after team shuffle in 2020, she became a member of BNK48 Team NV.
Jennis Oprasert is a former member of the Thai idol group, BNK48, an international sister group of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. She is one of the first generation members of the group. Jennis also served as the vice-captain of Team BIII, with Punsikorn Tiyakorn (Pun) as the captain.
Rina Izuta is a Japanese singer and a member of the Thai idol girl group CGM48. She is also the first and current general manager of the group. She is a former member of AKB48 and BNK48.
Punyawee Jungcharoen, or nickname Aom, is a member of the Thai idol girl group CGM48, an international sister group of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48, where she is the captain of the group and concurrently a member of CGM48's Team C. Previously, she was one of the second generation members of BNK48
MBO is a Thai record label and a subsidiary of GMM Grammy that focuses on pop, dance-pop and pop rock music genre. The label's current acts include Jidapa Siribunchawan (Jida) and Thanabordee Jaiyen (Peem).
Putthipong Assaratanakul, also known as Billkin, is a Thai actor and singer. He is known for his roles as Tao in My Ambulance (2019), as Teh in I Told Sunset About You (2020) and I Promised You the Moon (2021), and as M in How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (2024).
