Iliya Pavlov Naydenov was a Bulgarian businessman. A banker, financier, philanthropist and reputed mafia Bulgarian mafia, he was the leader and founder of the Multigroup organization and G-13. Pavlov was ranked the eighth richest man in Central and Eastern Europe by the Polish magazine Wprost in 2002. He was said to be worth $US1.5 billion. He was married to Darina Pavlova, who inherited his fortune after his murder.

Maxim Staviski

Maxim Staviski is a Russian-born naturalized Bulgarian ice dancer. With partner and fiancée Albena Denkova, he is a two-time (2006–2007) World champion, a two-time (2003–2004) European silver medalist, and the 2006 Grand Prix Final champion. Denkova and Staviski are the first Bulgarians to medal at the World Figure Skating Championships.

Ognian Boytchev, commonly known as Oggy Boytchev is a British journalist and independent producer with more than 20 years experience at the BBC in London. He has worked as a producer to the BBC World Affairs Editor, John Simpson. Born in Cherven Briag, Bulgaria, Boytchev defected to Britain in January 1986.

Foreign relations of Bulgaria

Foreign relations of the Republic of Bulgaria are the Bulgarian government's external relations with the outside world. Bulgaria has generally good foreign relations with its neighbors and has proved to be a constructive force in the region under socialist and democratic governments alike. Promoting regional stability, Bulgaria hosted a Southeast European Foreign Ministers meeting in July 1996, and an OSCE conference on Black Sea cooperation in November 1995. Bulgaria also participated in the 1996 South Balkan Defense Ministerial in Albania and is active in the Southeast European Cooperative Initiative. Bulgaria's main focus is the Euro-Atlantic integration since 1997 and the efforts of the governments since then led to admission to NATO in 2004 and the European Union in 2007. Its main allies are Greece and Romania, while it maintains good relations with Serbia and the rest of the Balkans. The Republic of North Macedonia is a very important state in Bulgarian foreign and internal policy due to the historical, ethnical and cultural connections.

Blagoy Aleksandrov Ivanov is a Bulgarian mixed martial artist and Sambo practitioner. He is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he competes in the Heavyweight division. He was the 2008 Combat Sambo World Champion and the former World Series of Fighting Heavyweight champion. As of March 7, 2022, he is #14 in the UFC heavyweight rankings.

Tsvetan Tsvetanov Bulgarian politician (born 1965)

Tsvetan Genchev Tsvetanov is a Bulgarian politician and former government official. A former security deputy mayor of Sofia, he was, until 2009, the chairman of the GERB party. On 8 July 2009, in the wake of the 2009 parliamentary election won by his party, he was specified by de facto party leader Boyko Borisov as future Minister of the Interior.

Vasil Levski Stadium Metro Station is a station on the Sofia Metro in Bulgaria. It was introduced into service on 8 May 2009. It serves the Vasil Levski National Stadium. The architectural layout was created by architects Kr. Andreev and D. Mushev.

The Mall (Sofia) Shopping mall in Sofia, Bulgaria

The Mall, Sofia, also known as Tsarigradsko Mall, was the largest shopping mall in the Balkans. Opened in spring 2010, The Mall claims it has a total built area of 62,000 square metres on six stories, three of which are underground. It claims to contain more than 240 shops, restaurants, recreations centres, bars, cafeterias. The Mall has a parking capacity for more than 2,800 vehicles. Bulgaria's largest Carrefour hypermarket at 9,000 square metres was within the Mall. The Mall can be found at 115 Tsarigradsko Shose. Beside the mall lies a business centre and the headquarters of Vivacom — the largest telecommunications company in Bulgaria. As of 2010, it has created 1,500 new jobs.

2014 Bulgarian parliamentary election

Parliamentary elections were held in Bulgaria on 5 October 2014 to elect the 43rd National Assembly. GERB remained the largest party, winning 84 of the 240 seats with around a third of the vote. A total of eight parties won seats, the first time since the beginning of democratic elections in 1990 that more than seven parties entered parliament. Boyko Borisov then became prime minister as head of a coalition with the Reformist Bloc and with outside support from the Patriotic Front and the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival.

We Continue the Change is an electoral alliance in Bulgaria led by Kiril Petkov and Asen Vasilev, the former caretaker Economy and Finance Ministers, respectively. It competed in the November 2021 Bulgarian National Assembly election, coming in first place with 67 seats. It was given the mandate to form a government on 13 December 2021, and formed a broad coalition between BSP, ITN and DB.

Lozan Yordanov Panov is a Bulgarian judge and the chairman of the Supreme Court. He ran unsuccessfully for president in the 2021 Bulgarian Presidential Election, with his election bid supported by Democratic Bulgaria.
